Bevan - you could make your Photo selection no. 4......which may prompt you to do it this week!? Then you'll only need to think of one more job.
Im sure you must have a drawer of cupboard which needs doing, or something else you've been putting off for ages? xx
Good luck thinking of something
Hi Jo, thanks for the suggestion of the scrapbook becoming part of the list. Unfortunately I need DH's help with that as I'd like it to be put together between us and at the mo I cant get him to think straight!! Still on my list though to remind meOne day
Will add sorting out someone to look after kittens while away and sorting clothes for week in Cornwall
toottifrootti wrote: »bevan hugs for you both - I know how hard it can be waiting for hospital things - - try to get him less stressed for wed nesday (easier said than done I know) but it will help the blood pressure etc. Cross the bridges when you come to them - there is no point second guessing at this stage - its great that you are getting him to go away and relax and sort things out after - thats a good starting place. What about hiring some of his fav DVD's or funny DVD's for tomorrow to help him chill a bit - and forget housework tomorrow - if you drive and he is fit try taking him out for a run in the car or soemthing that or would that be adding to his stress - I meant about not being able to drive not your driving try to distract him as much as possible - have a laugh with him - like a fashion show - try on some of your long forgotten clothes and get his opinion as to whether they stay or go?
I've tried to talk to him, to stop him thinking about the 'What If's' Tried explaining that they may not find anything but he's sure they will. I've used the line my Mum gave me on him too but didn't do anything. Why are men so clammed up about things? You try to explain things in a nice/positive way and they still think the opposite! If I was to do the clothes thing he'd think I was after somethinghehe, I've done it before
and he's scared of that as well at the moment. I also have to work
I've managed to get Wed afternoon off so I can go to the Hospital with him though.
He hasn't been told he cant drive, just that he can't work (he drives a coach), I don't understand it but apparently it's law now that if you drive a public vehicle and are experiencing chest pains, the Dr's will not let you drive until you get the all clear, it's fair enough reallySo I'm letting him drive me to work and pick me up (with him being on the sick we cant afford 2 cars so he needs mine at home in case he needs to go out) :rotfl: about the driving!!! he used to complain about my driving, but my come-back is that if he wasn't comfortable with my driving, he wouldn't fall asleep everytime he is in my car!! teehee I'll try and get him to sit and watch DVD's tommorrow while I'm at work, doesn't like sitting doing nothing, which is why I hid his car keys last week!!! He didn't have a choice then as couldn't go anywhere
Trying to keep him busy with little jobslittle bit of ironing, cleaning the kitchen sides etc etc only give him little jobs to keep him active and moving instead of dwelling on the dreaded 'What If's' He'll get there, just want Wednesday over and done with so we can focus on Cornwall
Flying wise, decluttered lunchand tidied work desk
not that it shows anymore lol!!!

Do you think I should reopen the windows? Had to shut them as we just had a cloud burst and the rain was coming in the windows but if I reopen them and go for my nap it might happen again while I’m asleep….but I would prefer to have some fresh air…
Hope your course goes well 1 step
Big hugs Bevan

[STRIKE]Morning All[/STRIKE]Afternoon.
Thanks Pigpen for the list and thanks to Toots for doing the stars. Honestly the reason I am not getting any stars is to make it easier on Toots so it is one less person she needs to keep any eye on. *Do you think she will believe me?*

Well done neveah on getting your first star
Ok back from my HHC and I am now bathed, dressed and hair done. Trouble is I am now all hot and bothered..grrr!! I thought the weather was supposed to cool down, can someone tell Kent that it is supposed to be cool and not muggy!!
Think i will have lunch then make a start on putting away the pile of un-ironables thats currently collected on my table and in a binbag:cool:
jinky I have to ask, why are there clothes in a binbag?
Have cleaned the bath and filled up the water containers with my bath water, so that I can water the garden with this when it hasn't rained. Although I might chuck it in the water butts in the garden if it is continues to rain during the day/night. Bed is all made, fluffed up and straightened.
I also cut back my forsythia away from my tomato plants. These poor plants were getting strangled with the forsythia, now I have 5ft tall tomato plants looking like palms..lol. And totally unhindered in their growth. Note to self do not plant them in the veg plot next year - they grow too much..lolWhite wash has been brought in from outside, folded up and put away. Also folded up the whirly gig after washing it down.
Am now going to put a pink wash in the machine and make some lunch to eat while watching Murder She Wrote.

1) Go through my wardrobe, DD's and DSs wardrobe and remove EVERYTHING that doesn't fit!
2) Finish the 3000 word assignment
3) Declutter dining room.

I'm not going to make a 5 things list - much as I want to, and think it's a great idea. There's too much happening at the mo, the children need some serious attention, as does the house....... change of mind...
scratch that....
1) make sure I put a love note in their lunch boxes twice this week
2) make tomato soup for DD2 - her favourite
3) absolutely no shouting from me this week - that's a tough one
4) buy the paint for the LR
5) defrost small freezer
I think thats a lovely thing to do, :T :A0 -

Oh dear.....should I be scared?!?!?!:rotfl:;)
Ended up doing a run to A&E just now...my nephew (A) has hurt his finger at school and it looks broken. SIL is at work with their car and BIL was in bed at home having worked a night shift and he's supposed to be in work tonight. As SIL has got the car he couldn't get to A&E so I offered to drop BIL and A. I am also looking their little girl again this afternoon too.
So I'm having a quiet half hour then I'll do a bit in the kitchen before school pick up. Then I'm picking up my mum and dad from the train station straight from school and I need to fit in returning some library books at some point too! Busy day!
Ok, I need to think about my 5 things now.- Go running at least once this week
- Do half an hour of paperwork sorting
- Clear the ironing pile
- Sort out the car insurance
- Plant out the plants from the windowledge.
See you all in a bit.0 -
I've ordered some school trousers online and that is it.
Have a stinker of a headache and nuro not touched it - time for a cuppa and some parrots I think.
I really should try and do something off my list. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
