My extra five things list and i've thought hard about this.....I must be mad!!

    1) Go through my wardrobe, DD's and DSs wardrobe and remove EVERYTHING that doesn't fit!
    2) Finish the 3000 word assignment
    3) Declutter dining room.
    4) Visit library to take book back and local shop to get battery for pedometer (you've all made me want to use it again).
    5) (and this is the one i'll regret) Gut master bedroom - chuck, chuck and more chuck!
mudbath honey- tooo many big jobs on your list - break it down more- you want to do them all not be disappointed if you dont!
dusty hope your headache eases soon
greenbee - it sounds promising about your weight if the trousers are anything to go by! re receipts - anything for basics food etc - once you have checked it off then bin it -I have a large bulldog clip and place the most recent on the top until checked and then filed as required - see next bit!
As for anything that needs to be kept like for clothes/ electrical goods etc - I sellotape into a cheap shorthand notebook (or any notebook) in date order of purchase - the start date is on the front of the note book and the end date eventually and then it can be shredded after the time period for returns (3, 6 9 12 months) if you need to return anything the recipt is there and the page can be pulled out easily. - works for me.
TIA -DITTO WHAT PIGPEN SAID - REST - forget trying to fly with the lists - try to do any baby things that you need to but its far more important to look after yourself and the bump - you havent got so [STRIKE]pleeeeeease[/STRIKE] be patient - thats an order too - no please either - just do it honey:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
valli glad you are feeling cheerful!!
SSL - what a shame for you and BF - that is such mean behaviour - make sure you get your point across when you get the chance.
Hippy hello- nice to see you - was just ready my lovely cards the other day:A hope you get caught up a bit while you are on your own.
Thats Pigpen for the list and thanks to Toots for doing the stars. Honestly the reason I am not getting any stars is to make it easier on Toots so it is one less person she needs to keep any eye on. *Do you think she will believe me?*

Well electrician has finished :j and said h will pop round some time next week to get paid.
You have no chance:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Glad you have finally got your electrics done - maybe you will be able to get on and get it finished now.

    toots xx

Right - TOOTS you a star as normal!!!! Your right, there's ennough in number one for the whole of the week. No wonder I was hyperventilating!! LOL I think I always think I'm lacking when working full time and that I should work like a fool to try and 'catch up'. It's not a competition I know, for crying out loud I've only ever managed 2 stars!!! But I can/do feel inadequate when I read what everybody else has done. Love and hugs honey xxxx

So, my revised list for the week is:
    1. remove stuff that doesnt belong in small bedroom and put where it should be - dont leave it lyiing around
    2. clean ceiling - light fitting -windows
    3. clean walls - wash curtains and put up fresh
    4. clean out furniture
    5. decide what to do about carpet

I don't work full time.. one week I got 1 star and one week I got4.. other thanthat i've never had any... so... if I, as HRMF (her royal mule flinger) can achieve so little that's fine.. BUT so long as you do what you canand can see it getting easier each week then that is a hug achievement.

Before Christmas I had got the house so it was pretty much a HHC in each room and the list was done.. plus a S&S .. and the dailies.. Sine I have done very little since then it has become a weekly epic to get on top of it all... tomorrow is BIG gutting day!

    Afternoon

Toots - I have finished the first of my list of 5 - wiping in DS1 room.

Each of the 5 items on my list should take approx 1 hour each. I hope to do one a day plus my dailies. Anything else I achieve this week will be a bonus but I won't be going for stars - my aim was to get some of the other stuff sorted once and for all - drains did not help today but I'm so pleased I still achieved one of the things I have been putting off for ages - I only did it for a smilie.

Time to find something for dinner - cricket tonight although the weather is very suspect .

The trick is after you have cleaned and dried unit tops fold newpaper and lay it out over your tops. Newspaper is absorbent so will absorb grease spots etc. Then you just throw and replace. Having had to scour unit tops before this really helps. it's what my grandma used to do (and she wore an overall when she was indoors cleaning...) Mind you she washed and ironed her dusters so there's no hope for me. And she hoarded NOTHING. Ever.

What an amazing woman your grandma was!

Today has mostly been spent keeping ds2 calm before he left for his school trip to Poland at 2.00pm....he's never been in an aeroplane before and was getting quite anxious and very stroppy. Still I got my revenge by blowing kisses to him as he left on the minibus......I heard him ask the driver if he would run his parents over:D

So I've come home, picked up ds3 from school and have started my list, only today I am doing the bathroom, as I have a friend coming round this evening who sparkling bathrooms are very important to....seems only fair to make mine as nice as possible for her :p

toots the reason i put DD's room as a whole on my list was as an incentive to me........I could ignore it forever and a day, but if i have to look at it everyday then i MAY actually go and start doing it.:p

Have phoned Tax Credits to renew my claim, so thats another small thing done

But I can/do feel inadequate when I read what everybody else has done.
CBG (hugs)Do Not feel inadequate - this is no competition - and everybody has their own level of fitness/ time etc - STOP COMPARING YOURSELF WITH THE OTHERS - compare your self i(f you have to) with what you were like before you joined the thread - are you better at doing things - its what makes a difference to you and yours and the house - not what the rest of us are doing - sorry dont mean to preach!! and I was only making suggestions about the room I didnt think you would actually use my list!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: but I am delighted if its going to help.

Sunnygirl - hope the broken finger owner is ok.
neveah congratulations on your first star - you see it does get easier each week!!
1 step closer - instead of the full lists then why dont you do the weekly challenge and takle 5 things that need doing - I am sure you will still be S&Sing the rest of the house so you could do 5 things over the week that you have been putting off - just a thought!!!
lilysue I hope DS2 copes ok and has a great time - how long is he away?

well it has finally stopped raining and is quite bright and breezy for now - I might try and hang out a few bits to get them dry quicker - I hate it hanging about the house.
    toots xx
