If it carries on like this my water butt will be full again in about half an hour! My tomato plant is looking very unhappy... I knew I should have tied it up yesterday!

I've cleared a very small space on my desk. Does anyone have a magic solution as to how to deal with receipts? I never know how long to hang on to them for or how to file them. I know I can get rid of the petrol ones once I've done my expenses, and I guess the others can go once I've checked my CC/bank statements (which of course, I do religiously, even time they arrive :o) but I need some way of keeping them under control in the meantime...

Valli - good to hear it's nice inside your head at the moment :D. Do you want some ideas on interview questions so that you can think of answers?

    [STRIKE]1. Washing in/fold/put away
    (2. Sweep/wash floor (if back allows!))
    3. Exercise (now now now!)
    4. Prepare dinner.
    5. RELAX and play with DS.
    [/STRIKE]
All done :T, although there will likely be more playing with DS to follow any time soon.

A good old fashioned bulldog clip type thingy works for me.... My best friend up the road has a long spike on a wooden stand and she stabs them onto it. That way they're all in one place

A mix of a tiny bit of rain and sunny spells but v. windy here. I've had to go out twice to rest tomato plants that have blown over. I may have to move them temporarily.

Went to Mr T's to discover they have salmon on half price so I bought a whole one. Am about to fillet and chop it ready for the freezer then tackle the kitchen

Raggydoll commiserations on your loss and congratulations on your pregnancy. How are you finding things this time? And, listen to your Auntie Toots, and take things steady. :)

I promise I will do as I am told!! Since 14 weeks I have absolutely loved being pregnant!! Thats when the tiredness and sickness eased off. I have found it frustrating that things I would usually find simple are inexplicably hard work! and I am still more tired that usual but all in all feel healthy and contented and incredibly excited about becoming a Mum!!!

Done pretty good today, finished all 3 levels, just the fridge to attempt in a bit and my usual evening chores. I'm working all day Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday so won't manage as much those days but will try and do a few bits in an evening.

    Dailies
    Walk dogs x 2 (done x 1)
    Do horses x 2 (done x 1)
    Feed/water chickens x 2 (done x 1) and collect eggs
    Make bed
    [STRIKE]Unload/reload dishwasher[/STRIKE]
1 load washing and hang out to dry
    Make dinner

I've just thrown out lots of ancient receipts (one was over a year old!), all the till receipts (rather than credit card ones) and put all the petrol receipts in a separate envelope. So I now have a much smaller pile to [STRIKE]ignore[/STRIKE] deal with.

I really must go and have a shower though... I haven't had one since I got back. And I need to sort out the washing that I put in the machine before I went out :o. Still, I'm starting to make an impression on the study, albeit a small one :D

ETA - having just been checking my local freecycle... those of you who are shredding, don't forget that if you have a lot (e.g. a sackful) of shredded paper you can offer it on freecycle as pet bedding! Otherwise, use it as bedding for your own pets, or bung it in the compost heap if you have one!
