Great news on the mortgage offer. Think i will try this bingoport too, £10-£15 a month sounds fab!

I couldn't get the COD code to work on the Woolworths site (thanks for the hint of that forum tho) but DH went to Mr S at midnight and got it for about £35 i think. Shame he left the house at 7am and won't be home until nearly 10pm, am sure he'll be able to find energy to play it though!!

  • She must be tiny. Compared to my lump who weighs 3 stone. The other mums were in shock as they were laughing at him jumping in puddles earlier, and i told them they were a size 11 and they were in shock. Good job he is tall and not looking chubby. I refuse to pick him up anymore. He always wants me to carry him downstairs but i value my back too much.

She is Michelle, just graduating to 12-18 month clothes, her sister is 4 and is 31lb. I seem to have biggish babies at birth but petite little things as they get older. Size 5 shoe for dd2 and an 8 for dd1.

  • At least you get the wear out of the clothes. Girls are meant to be more petite aren't they. Personally i don't give too hoots whether they are too big or too little compared to some silly health visitor graph. I go more on are they happy, and do they get ill every two minutes.

I do wish DS2 would eat a bit less though. He ate a whole box of cake decorations yesterday that he found in the dining room which would normally be up very high in the kitchen. Sneaky little thing. Can't wait till our home goes back to normal. ;) Whatever that is.

I do not get on very well with my HV, She says DD2 is 'failing to thrive' She can run, jump, climb, shout, eat loads, count, knows colours and shapes, talk obviously but potty training a bit hit and miss and basically everything right on 'time' but because she is small, and she is small she is 'failing to thrive' well f 0ff to that one.

  • To be honest i have never really bothered taking DS2 to the health visitors apart from the 7 month and 2 year check up. I couldn't care less.

I am also a bit unimpressed with DS1s nursery after they gave him a reward sticker for counting to 10. DS2 can do that. Push him to 20 at least.

And i would not worry about potty training either. I learned quickly with DS1 they do it when they are ready. Force it too soon and all you end up with is stress and a load of washing. I'm waiting till after christmas unless he does it himself before then. In your case, she could go backwards a bit after the baby anyway, and also what is the point in aggravating your SPD.

Mums know best. She sounds advanced to me. My health visitor would be raving how clever she is. :rotfl:

My DD aged almost 26 months not interested in potty training. However, on the way to nursery at 7am yday she said 'wee, potty' so nursery agreed to encourage her. Have a feeling my daughter is all talk and no action though! Size wise, she was born big and stayed big! think she is about 31lb ish (may have lost a little as she seems thinner but not taller iykwim) she is above the top centile for length and weight but is not fat at all, just solid!

Am looking forward to her impressing HV at her 2 1/4 check!
