I guess I am money neutral in that respect as I have had quite a bit from surveys etc, but I put it on the mortgage. If I didnt have that to OP I would have to get money elsewhere for xmas

Kimmy - we sometimes get emails saying the panel is expanding, next one i get i'll pm you with, I have an old one but not sure if it will work, i'll dig out the link in a minute. ETA no it doesn't work but then i was from April 09, i really need to clear out my emails more often.

Pammy - I think thats the key if you can pick up enough 'extra' income from whereever to pay for christmas so its not actually a cost on your monthly budget then you are sorted.

I have 58k in T0luna but need 80k for a £15 amazon voucher now I also have £20 in purepr0file but payout is £40 i think, need to check that.

I am trying to think of a target for 2011. I think I want to aim for something nice and round with extra income/earnings. Cashback, surveys etc. Thinking of using voucher to either buy christmas presents or something like my sister is forever buying herself DVD's and music so i could buy them using my amaz0n voucher total and she would replace the cash amount Come november 2011 I would then have a lump sum to either pay off mortgage or buy Christmas gifts with which might solve my predicament of buying too much, on the other hand it might actually cost more because I would not be picking up the peppa pig castle for £2.70 in mid february when i nipped to tesco for a sandwich.

I hate doing surveys but you are all doing so well, I think I need to restart again.

LP - my hubby is the same with meat. If I make a chili or bolognaise I add a bag of quorn mince and loads of lentils to the beef mince to bulk it out. It tastes really good but makes it a lot cheaper.

re formula, that's why I choose c&g as one of the cheapest but still a good name. I go through just over one a week atm £7.22-ish if that helps you work money out more. I know how you forget how much they drink when they're not so little anymore.

Thanks Iris. DD 2 was happy with C&G but DD1 has reflux and needed aptamil comfort which even in 2006 was £8.20 a box

I think your jewellery business would be great for 2011 but I also realise you'll have your hands rather full with Mini Pixie so maybe not as good an idea as surveys etc?! Would you be able to keep your mitts off the money youre trying to accumulate over the year or like me, see something 'I just cant live without' and then buy it??!! Will of steel if you can.......

How is your pelvis today? (what a question to ask someone youve never met).

Pelvis is ok it seems, movment still iffy but doing ok, get sore after walking about 100 meters though.

Kimmy I have seperate accounts i just don't touch so will of steel. Jewellery money goes right into my business account and i do not touch that at all until tax return done other than buying materials etc.

well here we go. Mortgage broker called about 5pm, official mortgage offer from halifax issued. 1st payment 1st Jan 2011.
