Yay! Passing the dreaded driving test is an awesome thing to do. Well done to your sister Lilac!

As for being a fretter... I think I have aged 20 years since I agreed to take on a mortgage. There's always something to worry about... but don't sweat it... cliched but everything always comes up right in the end! :)

well thats another week gone and no news. I think its good. If there was a problem we would of heard.

I have decided my oven is filthy, seriously filthy. Plans for tomorrow are pack up all the kids toys with the exception of the odd cuddly toy, mega blok box, pencils and colouring books and 6 story books. I make playdoh so i'll leave out the cutters and the rest is being boxed up. Too many toys anyway and with my work and OH's they are only in the house in the evening from 4pm and bedtime is 7pm. The next 4 saturdays they have parties, play dates, a pantomime and they are off with MIL tomorrow on a shopping spree for santa so I see no need in keeping huge amounts of toys out. Five weeks today we will be in our new house. EEEKKKKK

I found a lovely table and chairs in homebase, nice fridge freezer in currys and some nice plates in Dunelm Mill. Total drool fest. My mum pointed out i will need placemats and a table cloth plus crackers etc. Sooooooo exciting.

My dad is looking forward to me having a house because............... it has a downstaris toilet too.

  • Five weeks? That is so exciting/terrifying* (* delete as appropriate!)

No, seriously, that's tremendous news. I guess this speed of transaction is where the Scottish system comes into its own!

Excellent, I love shopping for new homey things, rugs and fridge/freezers, yay! How on gods earth do you make your own playdoh??

We've been shopping today and got shoes and a handbag for brother's wedding, plus did some more Xmas shopping, nearly all done, more yay!

    How is your hooter today?

  • You will probably find the kids play nicer with one lot of toys. Mine spend most of their time at the moment playing with some toy story figures, mega blocks and a tractor. The rest is just chucked around really.

5 weeks wow. That will go so quick.

I am hoping we have enough in our budget after the kitchen work is done to buy a few new bits. I'd like some new plates and some new tea towels. And a new blind as i haven't had one for the 6.5 years we have lived here so far. I might have a look at Dunelm. ;) Love it there.

I love Dunelm too. I was looking about and thinking ooo new plates then oh our cutley was just asda smart price in 2003 so I should really replace it. Then they had all the Christmas tables laid out with nice runners and placemats and i was allll oooooooo i fancy that then you see the crackers and decorations and I had to leave before i did something i regretted with Mr Mastercard :)

I know Iris. OH Birthday is the week before christmas and a week after we move so i'm half thinking 5 weeks to move, 6 weeks to OH birthday, 7 weeks to Christmas, 8 weeks to Hogmany ( big deal up here) then 10 weeks to my Birthday and 12-13 weeks until possible section date. Just all seems so tight.

My pelvis still tilting so consultant half mentioning possibly needing to do a CS to stop permenant damage and 'hoping' to hold off until 37 weeks but all depends on baby. At the moment its lying transverse which is not the best for me, they thing if it moved head down the pressure will be lifted from right side of pelvis so I might have a hope of going to term. I'm 25 weeks and fundus is 3 weeks ahead but they think thats baby position.

I feel a bit in limbo TBH, We know this place is sold contracts signed etc but until official mortgage offer comes through we cannot sign for the one we have bought so we don't know for sure that we are definatly moving although mortgage wise apparently all is fine its just a case of waiting on the rubber stamp. No matter what we need to of vacated this home 10th december by 11am :)

Operation pack up kids room is about to commence followed by declutter the kitchen and pack what we won't need in the next 4.5 ish weeks :)

It's a very busy time for you then. At least you have to think how to organise it all. I hope you like lists !

There's still time for the baby to move. It'll be moving about all the time. Would some gentle prodding help? Have you found out the flavour yet?

I hate the waiting game with house moving , its the not knowing which is the worse. Its a stressful thing to do as it is never mind anything else.

Last scan it was being all shy and modest. We did say we would have a private scan to find out flavour but with tthis move just landing on us and the fact money will be very very tight means we have had to abandon the scan idea :( I have anterior placenta so i see more than feel.

DH packing the toys with my supervision and online shop has arrived.
