  • Welcome back LP, hope you had a good time and the rubbish weather didnt ruin your hairdo like it does mine?

Thats a lovely thought at being MF at 40, I'm 41 and not MF for AGES!! Unless I win more than £1 on a stratch card as I did 2 weeks ago :rotfl:

I lurrrve Ikea, havent been there for years, I always find something I cant live without, its an addictive shop.

The hunt for the dress for brothers wedding begins this week, I also got this weeks Grazia mag as there was a Coast voucher with 25% off inside, yay! Will save me about £50 if I get the dress I like.

How long till you find out the mortgage decision??

Kimmy No idea TBH. I am scared to call the broker and thinking no news is good news. Seems 8 days is pretty typical looking at the mortgages and endowments board. That would put us at Thursday :)

You would think i was asking my husband to choose between his penis and amputation of a leg at the moment. In reality I have asked him to pack away his computer games and choose to leave out only one consol and a few games for the next few weeks. CD's also going into the first box of many :)

Still heard nothng from mortgage broker which i think is a good thing, thats 3 full working days that they have had application and documentation. M&E board seemed quite positive well one person said broker was right and all lenders were unpredictable and i was in same boat is everyone and a mortgage adviser said my broker should of done and affordability calculation first which he did and then my AiP which he did, both way higher than we asked for,, the A rating is our credit rating with halifax's internat scoring thing despite OH's debt so as long as we were truthfull on the AiP then there should be no issues so i'm a bit happier

Trying to be. My OH god love him is a hoarder, seriously. Does my head in we have running battles over paint covered trackie bottoms that he has had since 1998 but are apparently good for 'painting' umm he is rubbish at painting I do it mostly and he has overalls/boiler suits so he can use them :rotfl: He currently has 24 t shirts. yes 24. That isn't including work stuff, shirts or jumpers :rotfl: He comes home from work, takes off his work stuff s t shirt, trousers, socks and puts on trackie bottoms and a t shirt and his crocs which are his house shoes (slippers are gay apparently but sky blue crocs are not :rotfl:) then if he needs to go out like to a shop or collect the kids he changes to jeans, a different t shirt, clean socks and boots does what he needs to then comes back and changes back into trackies ANOTHER t shirt and takes off his socks.

Record is 1 work t shirt, 1 work bottoms, 3 house t shirts, 5 pairs of socks 2 pairs of jeans and 2 public t shirts in a DAY :eek::eek::eek:

I often think he is a weirdo and needs some sort of OCD counselling. dirty clothes freak him out, dribble of egg yolk and it a new outfit. He is pulling suitcases from loft at weekend and I have told him I expect a case with excess clothes and a bin bag for the rag recyling charity bin of stained ill fitting clothes. OH used to have a 32/34 waist but recently i have noticed 36 jeans leaving marks plus his new work trousers are a 38 for comfort and he is getting a belly probably because I have been on strike and take aways featured more in our diet and we haven't been walking/swimming as we did so he has put on about 10lb. I see no need in keeping 32 inch waist jeans.

Your washing pile must be huge!!

A new house means a clean start ad old things thrown out!! Thats a rule!
