Oops.... was that supposed to happen - what happened to my pink kitchen!!!!! Congratulations - that really is the beauty of the Scottish system :jA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Positive thinking. I'm a great believer in that. I'm sure it will go smoothly and you'll be in there before you know it.
We have a viewing on ours on Saturday, I'm hoping ours is a similar outcome to yours!I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -
I hope so Iris.
Well we have dug out everything halifax asked for with exception of a letter from child benefit confirming we have two children. No idea why they want it as we didn't declare the CB as income but did declare 2 kids and as we don't get tax credits we need child benefit letter apparently. Totally stupid but they open in 10-15 mins so will give them a call then.
New lender will be Halifax 2 year fix so overpayments will need to be put on hold or at least curtailed for a for 11-12 months while I do maternity leave etc.
Current issue is kids Christmas Pressies are in the attic here, so how on earth do we get that emptied and stuff involving little preying eyes removed. The inlaws have offered us the use of their attic short term so trying to think how I can keep kids out house while OH does the attic baring in mind we only have a step ladder so really he needs help. I think OH will get a friend over to help next weekend because we are away this weekend on a pre booked sun 9.50 weekend break
When do you think is too early to start to pack up?MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -

me too, its a slide and a climbing thing with cargo net. Older the youngest child had happy 11th birthday cards up but the owner said she would get rid of if buyers wanted but they are fine just no point in taking them and i'm obviously pregnant so would we want for when baby older I said i had a 4 and 2 year old so don't worry about disposing of them. Leaving 2 sheds as well.
My familly are being pains in bumto take tight move in date we need to borrow a little money from them not a HUGE amount depending on how savings go between now and move in date maybe a few hundred up to 1k. My dad is the sort that claims poverty and poorness for an age then goes away to spain for 4 weeks
so he is fronting up any extra cash we may need as a short term loan
Thats great but offer was accepted and we were over there collecting kids so they knew when i got the phone call and so far he has driven past it 3 times first to show my mum where it was, 2nd to point it out to my sister and then he remembered he knows the man who lives next door IE the house attatched to ours so he popped in to invite him to some guy they both know who is retiring's smoker . I need a rolling eyes smiley. Seriously offer was only accepted 14 hours ago and already he has been in the street more than I have.
Kimmy - watch energy consumption with the tumble dryer. Great things but they can eat power if your not careful.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000
