Well done on the offer- hope they will increase it that little bit more.
The pink palace looks lovely to me- the space feels good.

SmlSave - yep we have named a price more than the minimum we require but less than asking and less than valuation in hope they will meet halfway which would give enough.

Jellie I hope they do too.

:j:j ok now I have a mix of fear and nerves. Offer we rejected is 7.5% under valuation, market is really really slowing down here so eek. Concerned if these price drops do happen then it might be the pnly chance we have to move before bump arrives. Looking like CS for me week begining 31st Jan 2011 so :eek: I really only have just over 3 months

  • Glad to hear you have a more reasonable offer. You said you had help if you needed it, so get looking and see what happens. I am sure it will feel right if it is meant to be. :D Excited for you. :D

Been up since silly oclock. I seem to have a bit of a nervy tummy but bizzarly my pelvic pain is practically non existant. I only realised walking back from the loo that I wasn't actually sore :) I think the foam body pillow OH fetched out the loft on sunday might be helping, i gave it a good wash and dry yesterday and last night was the first night it was on my bed :)

Plans for today are quite simple, more stuff to the post office, shower, house viewing at 1PM then another same street at 2pm :) My dad is kindly picking dd1 up from nursery today at 11:30 and having dd2 from just about now to let me and OH view houses in peace and get some decluttering done. :)

I like the pink place too! Hope you get the extra funds in the offer. I remember refusing the first offer on our old house and then going into a massive panic that we had lost our buyer but they came back the next day with another 2k. Have my fingers crossed for you.

  • Ditto yay for the offer! My mum wanted the pink splashbacks from B and Q but my dad refused to oblige! Very modern apparently.... how were the viewings today? Anything you liked more than the pink palace??

Have 4 days off now but doing a day's overtime tomoro, have just bought a new toy, a tumble dryer. V boring I know but I think its great, have been finding things to wash just so I can play with it........

We have accepted offer with tight move date :) Our reasoning is, we went to view house 1 and 2 today. House 2 was the cheapest but really OMG it needs ALOT of work, just beyond DIY and not wanting to move until spring. We discounted it. House 1 was then next on the list. This was the immaculate house. It really is immaculate. Nice big garden not as big as the others but better laid out rather than a jungle. kids garden little tyke type toys being left if buyer wants and the usual. Seller has bought a new build and completes end of November and made it plain a deal was to be had if we were ready for early december entry. We noted interest as really it ticks all boxes. Mortgage bloke says 7 weeks turn around should be no problem borrowing 2.1x joint and did AIP straight away which was accepted right away. I then decided to offer below stamp duty and they accepted .

SO upshot is we move in slightly over 7 weeks :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
