It must be worse as you are stuck at home waiting. Hope you hear something soon.0

Worse bit i'm finding is OH texting with 'any news' 'anyone called' 'what you thinking' and stuff similar to that. Driving me loopy.
What else is driving me loopy is house we liked had an offer Friday afternoon, we said we were not in a position to also offer and the agent for that said they did not even know if that offer was acceptable and it possibly wouldn't be. So i havent heard about if that house has been removed from market or not.
Head is screaming they are playing games, no one offers 17% below as one and only offer and they have not said that was final offer or what. Fact is that offer does not leave us enough for deposit on house we need after costs/fees etc. Not to mention I refuse to rent at a cost of twice my mortgage (including overpayment) for another bedroom when bump will share with us for 6 ish months anyway.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -
Hmm... Stay cool and sit tight LP. Take comfort in the fact that the situation is genuinely out of your hands at the moment - there is nothing you can do to influence things so if you can, just think 'what will be will be' and get on with something else to take your mind off matters. But yep, OH's texting would drive me loopy too!!

dum dum dum. 2nd offer received. 12% under. Once again said no chance. Solicitor has recomended we go back with a figure we willing to accept so we have at 8% under mortgage valuation. With prices being low its a difference of 4k or £400 on a 90% ltv mortgage with the message of take it or leave it.
Solicitor is of opinion they are either time wasting or have been lookign way out of their budget so we will see.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -
Now that sounds more like it. Sounds as if they might be willing to do a deal at 10%. Less than you wanted of course, but let's wait and see. Something tells me you've not heard the last of them yet!

I hope so QB, the whole at least its over bit would be nice. It sounds bizzare but I feel this place has given us a decent, cheap home I don't feel it owes us anything as mortgage always been cheaper than renting same/similar so covering mortgage amount, fees and giving us a 10% deposit on a bigger, larger place is great.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

News in from solicitor. they say no to our named price but offered £500 more than prev offer that we already said way too low so we have refused and moving onwards. Solicitor feels they are just not able to afford. Have another 2 viewing booked for this week so i'm point blankly refusing to sell for less that what we 'need'MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000
