Can I join? After reading all the Christmas threads I want to join in!
I went into town today and bought some glasses (£1 for 3) to line with gold sparklies to make Pots O' Gold out of (for Dad, two friends, and three young foster sisters), and 4 mugs with Latte, Mocha, Espresso and Cappucino on (99p each) to go in a coffee-addict friend's hamper.
I made some Christmas cards yesterday too, 6 of them, so at least that's a start.
Ordered some paper yesterday that you print on and then transfer onto t-shirts, and I'm going to kidnap OH's plain white ones to put funky things on. Now need to find some suitable images.Saving for a house deposit.
Trying to sort clutter and sell as much as possible to make room and money!0 -
Kaida - welcome to the thread:j
Jordan - good to see you again :j
You all seem so organised - I think I am when I'm out shopping for bargains but then look at the heap on the spare bed and have to leave the room  Really must get a start on it...........have done some but need to make space for the snowmen to be filled with marshmallows ...........two birthdays need getting out of the way then I'll see it a bit clearer -I hope :jI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Welcome to the thread! We are all a few slices short of a Christmas fruit cake in here about Xmas so im sure you'll fit straight in!
yippee kye yay - well you should be glad you haveus then! :grouphug: (thats a very dodgy looking hug isnt it?) but you get the jist. and my mother in law is the same - she laughs at me cos i carry a little notebook in my bag from about now onwards and if she mentions anything little then I scribble it down in there - like she mentioned her family tree a few years ago but was really upset she couldn't find anything, so i did it for her , got all 4 lines back to the 1700's but she was so disheartened by no leads that I gave it to her before Xmas and she burst into tears. She mentioned once that her nan use to give her wool fleece gloves too so think i might make her a nice bits hamper and add a pair of those for her. Now need a bit of trickery to find out how big her hands are though so i get the right size!Time to find me again0 -
Thanks mary i bet you're more organised than me
It sounds great when i write it down, but actually seeing my gift cupboard that is actually a room, is a little bit daunting :rotfl: Still onwards and upwards
I get to order some bits this week aas my funds have increased, update later
xxI am only me, no pretences, no second guesses.. It's the best I can do, I'm sorry if that's not good enough for you... I'm sorry I'm not good enough for you :A0
