I've finally made a start on my uncles Christmas hamper. He loves anything German so I'm keeping my eye out in Aldi ;) Also bought a couple more little bits. Still got another £40 of my budget across the family to spend but the biggest chunk of that is on a gift for my neice which a couple of weeks ago was in EVERY shop I went in, I didn't have the funds so I left it, now I can't find it anywhere  I'm guessing I'm going to have to take a trip into town at some point and brave the crowds
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

I made a German hamper for my uncle last year! I didn't take any pictures unfortunately but it included things like Stollen, sausage, Pils, riesling, Milke, Rittersport, Leibnitz biscuits, Haribo, German tea, a German-style cook book (from Amazon I think), some Maggi packet mixes, and lots of Maggi Würtze (bit like soy sauce), which he adores and drowns all his food in! I think it's called Liquid Seasoning in the UK.

I live in Germany so it's easy to get things (had to lug it all home on the plane though!) but Aldi and Lidl are good places to look. I saw some German beer in Aldi last weekend when I was in the UK, bought it for my cousin's birthday.

My brother and my BIL are both sorted now, so still to do:
    Mum
    Dad
    Sis
    Cousin1
    Cousin2
    Grandma

I've got lists of Dad and Sis so that makes it easier. and shopping day organised for next week so hopefully I will get plenty done then.

...... I am doing a breast cancer pink thing. I bought a tray of pink beast cancer awareness coke, 8 pimk flakes (15p each cos a lady was given out 20p vouchers), small pink nail vanishes (90p) tube of pink smarties each (£1 342) just want 1 more pink thing ???? total £1.91 each not bad

I know this is a bit late but I couldn't check the price until today. How about a miniature bottle of Rose Wine, they are £1.64 at Tesco (or you can get 2 bottles for £3 and this includes minature Gallo bottles)

I'm quite proud: I'm nearly done! :) I went to B&M again today and they had FINALLY got some Stig soap on a rope's in, so I got one as a bargainous stocking filler for my brother (£1.89). Yesterday I even managed to order something for my best friend, who has taken the mantle of 'the awkward one' for this year (there's always one!). I could do with getting her something to add to it, but I'm not quite sure what. Ah well, it's a start to the hardest present of all so that's good.

    Happy days! :D

Ok today I am going to get everything out on the bed and see what I have and what I still need to get. Not done anything for a while so I think there will be some shopping to be done! Whatever happened to becoming organised?
