Evening all, hope everyone is doing ok!
On the chocolate coin front i think superdrug got the white chocolate coins in again BOGOF as well as the normal milk chocolate, 99p i think too.
My sister still works in superdrug, and i miss the 10% discount from when i was there so i get her to get my choc bits etc! bit more money off is all good!
went shopping today - just to get a few bits before going away;
got two rolls of wrapping paper - 10m on a roll for 99p!!! :eek: was very pleased with that and even more when unrolled some and it isnt thin paper either!
got 2 pack leggins, long sleeved tops in 2 pack and pink fleece for friends little girl for £8 in primark; add two of the 99p books i picked up and thats her present sorted!
primark also had some lovely fleec throws - only £2 each, know some people still looking for their bits for hampers, had all sorts colours too.
also have been told that all the make up is 3 for 2 in superdrug in december apparently, and my sister thinks that you can cross over the makes too which is pretty good!)
:heart2:Married my Prince Charming on 15th April 2011 - perfect day!

Another one here who is skint :mad:
Panicking slightly as I've done everyone else (mostly) but not my two older boys. Just got the list from DS2, not much on it this year but once they get past 10, they have most of what they need (he's 12).
Did grab a couple of bargains last week, Maltesers calendars at 2 for £4 in Asda (£3 each in Tescos) and DD decided (she's 20 months) she must have a Thomas The Tank Engine advent calendar (tomboy) so that was only £1 in Tesco.
Worrying that DH's wages on friday wont stretch far enough over the next month. Have been using money from everywhere - including my pinecone meal vouchers and £2 coins I had been saving up for Christmas food shopping.
BTW, currently DD has ditched all her toys and books in favour of her new favourite thing - Christmas brochures!! Asdas comes out tops (small enough to handle with lots of pictures of baubles etc) followed by boots (is now a shredded wreck), argos and tesco being the least desirable.

kingsir all that booze sounds lovely .i had a go many many years ago at making my own wine-wasnt good and very very messy to do well i found it was as when decanting the "wine" went everywhere biut would be prepared to give it another go.will keep and eye out on freecycle for some demi johns-how many would i need to make one load of coffee wine???
janey xxx
1 Demijohn hold 1gallon of wine. Using a big funnel when decanting stops some of the splashback and a thick towel until whatever you are decanting into helps too!!
I ran out of glass demijohns this year and couldn't get enough from boot sales etc, so ended up buying plastic ones for £2.50 each which was (just)within my budget:D
Good luck.0
