Hey,
just wanted to say thanks for the well wishes - am sure things will be ok, just both in bit of limbo land at the mo as his boss gave him no dates etc as to when for sure this taking place - he is at work today so going to tell him he needs to know today.
Jemtom, know you wanting ideas for cocktail bits - i posted some bits a while back that sainsburys had in - squidgy pockets of cocktail mixers - just need to add the alcohol - maybe they would be good? or even getting (depending on size of hamper) different tonic/flavours - lime, lemon etc?
am sure can get slices of lemon on little jars ready for drinks too.
Or some funky ice cube trays - maybe some fruit shaped ones, or i know ikea used to do cool ones with stirrers on them..or talking about stirrers; what about this sort of thing?

there is a good website; www.drinkstuff.com its not all cheap on there, but there might be some good things to get ideas from and be able to find cheaper else where.
also just remembered £1land had boxes of after 8 mints (250g if remember correctly) in there - said limited to 5 per customer. i didnt have any more money otherwise would brought a few but it might come in handy for people!
Also our 99p store had small tins of nescafe coffee - perfect sizes for hampers/coffee mug set i am doing for presents too.
hope everyone is ok today...only 6 weeks to go!:heart2:Married my Prince Charming on 15th April 2011 - perfect day!

Don't mean to knock your post, jemtom, but thought I'd add this so people aren't disappointed with the picture quality.
Just to say that I have had photobooks from Jessops and as long as they are the Cewe ones, not jessops own brand, they are fab, realy excellant quality and no problems with the photos at all.0 -
Xmas must be coming - ex asked DD to email him her Christmas list so he can pass it on to his family :rotfl::rotfl: My trick - she makes the list, I split it in two and let her send one half to him and I pass on the other half to my family.
This year will be including what clothing size she is in/what she needs as they always buy her clothing so this time we'll make sure she gets what she needs and not more coats
Saves me money too :rotfl::rotfl:

Morning all,
Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts!! I'm fine - lots of lovely purple bruising, but walking fine and can do stairs mostly normally now rather than one step at a time! Back in work today mind!I'm pleased you and baby are both okay, it must have been a very frightening experience. Do you have much longer to go now?
Have about 5 weeks to go now! So could be any day REALLY, or could be as long as 7 weeks! lolcyclingyorkie wrote: »cdsmiler - i agree - milk it fo0r all it's worth!
I fell when 6-7 months gone with DD1 - she was fine - I ached all over...Just to echo what everyone else has said CD Smiler and hoping you are okay. I am sure your hubby is feeling awful and willing to do anything to make you feel comfortable - milk it for all its worth, stay off your feet and get well. Glad baby is okay, they are so resilient - I know I was 8½ months pregnant and fell up the kerb, I was so worried about little un, but she was fine!
Yeah, I think she slept all through the experience to be honest!! Oblivious to the shock and pain her mummy was going through.... typical eh?! lol
Curlylou - such bad timing. Hope it all works out alright in the end though!!
Mr A were doing selection boxes, 2 for £5 the other day. Most of them were the £3 packs, but they also had the Galaxy ones (good selection - normal size galaxy bar, smaller size, Ripple, Mistletow Kisses, Whole Nut, Minstreals) which are normally £4 on their own! Just thought I'd share!
