thanks to all who have helped with cocktail hamper so far i have -
glowsticks
cocktail glass
shot glasses
some umbrella's
cocktail shaker and stirers
cocktail book.
think i am going to make it into more of a party/drinking hamper - she loves having parties, got her a "pin the tail on the donkey" game off ebay as a jokey present, also going to get her a couple of minatures, curlylou thanks for sainsbury's cocktail things will have to have a look. and the website, also wanted to get her some ice cube trays so will be keeping my eyes open.
thanks to everyone for their help,
What about getting her some wine glasses and painting them with some glass paint? or those charms you can get so you know which glass is yours?0 -
am looking out for the charms got my mum looking out for them too. the wine glass idea might be a good one, anyone know where i would get glass paint from? cant say i have ever seen it.
well out of the 4 selection boxes i got i have only so far opened 3! i should have wrapped them up as soon as i brought them although tom has helped me eat a few of the things out of them. lol at least there is no one to tell me off, i dont think i will bother buying any tins off chocs this year or maybe just one for me whilst i wrap presents.

Could you print out some cocktail recipes on the internet? Then use those to include different ingredients so she can make some cocktails striaght away? So include little bottles of alcohol and mixers like orange juice, tonic water, tomato juice.
You could also include cocktail sticks and pots of glace cherries, olives and other things that go on sticks in cocktails (can't think of anymore!)
A common cocktail ingredient is sugar syrup, I think you need boil up equal quantities of sugar and water and the mixture will keep for quite a while in a decent container. You could make some of this up for her and it will make cocktail making much easier. Tabasco is a good thing to put in, it's cheap and you can't make a bloody Mary without it.0 -
i've just found this ebay link http://shop.ebay.co.uk/monkeying.about/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686 on the weddings forum and i've just ordered 5 pashminas to give out as presents thought some one else might like to have a look see0

Hey everyone,

Cant believe how quick november is going already - christmas is going to bere so soon!
got few bits left to get for people now - friends are nearly done just other family members and my boyf, thankfully got money aside for xmas and he has said we have to have normal christmas so best get shoping for him! lol.
I made my peg magnets which am pleased with, need celophane bags really for them to go in as be easier than sorting out the celophane in squares.
going to go to shopping outlet near us as in Nike they still have the buy anyhting in the store and get second item for a £1! crazy deal!! so think going to get some trainres for OH form there - big feet with size 13 so normally outlets are best places for looking!
going shopping on sunday so my aim is to get the bits for friends that i have left to get, then disney paris on the 23rd, then we going to lakeside shopping after that once assed what we got left to buy and get it done in the weekend.
Will be taking trip to asda cos i know they got good offers on still, and i believe sainsburys have 25% off clothes - might be able to get few bits for family in there with money off.
Superdrug have simple make up wipes on offer for only £1.75 at the mo - which is a good deal, got myself a few packs and some for friends hampers too. Can get cheaper ones but i got my freidns onto the simple bits! lol.

I've not managed to get anything for ages,
I'm soooo skintand its driving me mad, I was so organised a few weeks ago, but now im well behind
! But ive seen a few things in the 1p sale that I want for people, and I think I can manage to fork out a few pence! And I've got a some m&s vouchers left anyway from when I signed up for sky, and said my mum had recommended me (we shared them!) so I will probably spend them then, but i was hoping to save them for the sales
