Countdown just depends if you count it as nights or days and whether you include today and/or Christmas day.
It's 59 nights anyway, regardless of what days you're countingSealed Pot challenge #508

OMG Where has the time gone??
Really need to start getting a shift on - going to take Ben pine cone hunting this week though so we can make some decorations then on Wednesday will pick up some glue and glitter for him to decorate them with I think.
Any Xmas shopping is well and truly put off until next week though when he is back in school.
Although do need to start sorting out exactly what finishing touches i need now for peoples gifts
and i still couldn't find my saved up Wilkinson stamps!:mad::mad::mad::mad:
My eldest DS (3) has been pestering me for pine cones for weeks as he wants to make a Pine Cone Mouse (think he saw it on tv lol) and I can't find any anywhere! It's all Oak trees around here
Have given my Mum the mission now lol

went to my local tescos earlier and got a few bargains that was needed;
a lego indiana PSP game for £12, boyfriend mention gran theft auto and another new one that are around £25 upwards - dont like spending so much on a game, especially when he will play for a few weeks then it be months inbetween playing - like having a child the way he changes his mind!! lol.
also got a box of matchmakers as they only £1, so they are being hidden with few other xmas food bits i have brought so far - we lost 2 tins of celbrations down to my boyf having 2 days off other week....! will hide them in cupboard in bedroom and pull out nearer xmas! lol.
remember a while back people were making tea bag cards (i think!?) dunno if people still doing it, but they got boxes of after 8 chocolates for £2.58 with 50% extra free in them; so didnt think was too bad priced really.
also - hoping someone might be able to help; am looking for a present for my boyf - 3 weeks ago on our local market they had big canvas' with cartoon comic book covers on them - the old style superman, iron man, etc. they were only £15, but i couldnt carry it back with me when i saw them. i have gone specifically into town each week paying £3.20 on a saturday only being 15 mins to find it, and the stall not there!!!! grr!
have looked online but they are easily £50 upwards, as this was £15 i dont want to spend too much, espceially as its for my mum to give him. ideally its an Iron Man i want to get - ebay not been helpful at all; only few have been from the movie, which isnt really what i am looking for.
any help be appreciated!!)
Hey curlylou, i know tkmaxx had some huge old comic canvas prints, seen them on a number of occasions, were wanting to do the attic out with them (kind of a movie games room for my bf) boys will be boys hey lol. Sorry i dont know the price but if you dont drop on that stall again i would suggest a look. It cant have been over £50 me being a thrifty shopper but cant remember how much sorry. Well I've had a very productive afternoon in town
DD's stocking is completed (unless I spot any novelty bits to go in it, then I'll just shift the Hannah Montana & HSM books that are in it into her hamper), she now has an origami book ( here ) and a cookery book ( here ) both bought from the bookclub in work, a HSM beach towel which she can use as a throw (clearance in Asda a few weeks back) and a Lava lamp from Argos. With her PS2 singstar games (Disney & Queen) I think she's done. I've also got her a 2ft Xmas tree in white with 30 mini pink baulables (Poundland) for her room which she can put up when we put the decorations up. I'm going to leave it here for her wrapped up with a note from the Xmas fairy
I'm taking her to town to get some material to cover some cushions in her room so I'll take her to get some garlands & tree topper then
Poundland & Wilkinsons today were fantastic for stocking fillers for her:
Poundland finds : Hannah Montana hair glitter & colourer (NOT for school nights:rotfl: ) HSM book, 2x Hannah Montana books
Wilkinsons : Bath bomb set, exfoliating gloves (she loves these and hers are worn out and snagged), grow a polar bear (I'm looking forward to this one myself!:rotfl: ), chocolate coins (2 for 97p), a pencil with a collapsible zebra in red on it, pink smarties tube, stacker pens @ 30p each. :j
I'm well chuffedWill have to sit down and have a think about the rest of the family, I'm stumped!

My Oh has been scolding me about my focus on xmas and I pointed out I just wanted to get organised. Then he asked what my next focus would be Easter or next Xmas!
Say a baby or a puppy :rotfl: something that will have him
My H loves my bargain hunting and making stuff but does get a bitwhen he gets home and the house is a tip and he has to start cooking lol. I just
