Hello everyone!
Ooh christmas is drawing nearer, I'm soooo excited! Im going to tweak my xmas list today depending on the pressies I've already bought so i know exactly what Ive got left to get. I really need to just stick to the list! I keep getting sidetracked by 'extras'. I don't think I'm going to be able to buy much more until the end of november though. Money is going to be very tight in october. Hopefully I'll be getting an £80 payment in late november/early december sometime so Ill be rushing out to buy mums/mils/nans main presents then! Plus smaller present when OH gets paid on the 23rd december, so much for not rushing around at the last minute.

I remember rudhing round last year on xmas eve, as many places had reduced loads of stuff already so i decided as i didnt have anything else to do that i would go shopping - what a nightmare. Never again.
I'm off into town now to get my haircut and i'm hoping to nip into boots and see what they have to make me spend some points. I really want the in the night garden skittles for my DD but everywhere is OOS. So i have to keep checking.
I can only just make it to the computer now as the office is that crammed full of bags and boxes and presents and craft stuff, There is the smallest pathway tot he keyboard but everything else is unreachable, lol.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -

My DH had a brainwave the other night (very unusual!) and we are going to buy a subscription to lovefilm or the tesco version to put in the movie hampers so the recipient gets either 8 or 12 dvds to watch instead of buying a couple of cheapo ones.0

Well i went to boots and found myself buying the OOTW for the men, so thats 3 more people off my list. at £13.33 each there not badly priced but NO WAY would i pay £40 for 1.
I spent £45 and got almost £16 worth of points back so they were even cheaper for me. had loads of vouchers sent in a mailing that i used all at once.
AS predicted they had NO in the night garden skittles, they had 1 set on display but they wouldnt let me buy it, so i am going to have to order it online instead.
I am having a weekend off from xmas and getting organised as it was my birthday yesterday and we are going out tommorrow night. 1st time out in almost 18 months - i'll be in a coma after 2 drinks.
PLUS my little brother is back from afganistan so im going to give him his bottle of grey goose vodka that was sent to me for him, i cant wait to see his face.
But come monday its back to christmas, i neaarly have everything i need for most of the hampers so i need to pull it all together to see what size boxes i need to put it all in.
I'm not gonna waste money buying baskets, cardboard boxes covered in xmas wrap will more than do the job.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T

Does anyone know where I can get a starter kit that is not too expensive to make sushi? I thought I saw one last year in boots but can't see one, I looked into a day course but that is way off budget, great idea but no, the books she has so it is just the ingredients boxed really I need, the sushi paper or whatever it is called and the sauces?0
