Im off to Boots on payday at the end of this month to buy everyones Christmas prezzies then thats done with! Cant wait! Loooove Christmas! :D

Remember to shop around a bit 1st. boots are gret with their 342 but i have seen several of the toys etc loads cheaper in other stores therefore making the 342 pointless.

I have finally finished my plaques, took a bit longer than i thought it would but as it was my 1st attempt it was trial and error, if i me anymore i will be able to do them quicker as i have learnt a few quick tips.

Mini door plaques for the kids,

I still have to ad the hanging ribbon to totally finish them off.

Plaques and add on's are from ebay but the mirrors are £1.39 each from IKEA.

Ok so I am a huge karaoke fan and have been waiting ages for a decent Wii karaoke game to come along & just like buses 2 seem to have come at once,
    here are the details

U-Sing released 30th Oct (some websites quoting 6th Nov)
Comes with one mic includes 30 songs & currently cheapest price is £29.73 from the hut, but check find-game for most current price!

Also We Sing released 30th October
Comes with 2 mics (can play with up to 4 mics if you purchase more)
Contains 30 songs also & current cheapest price is £32.99 from amazon but again check find-game for current selling price

There also both available without mics incase you already have some!

I know I'd be glad with either in my stocking this year but being so impatient I have preordered both lol

Have lurked on and off here for a while but felt so 'un-organised'..........now I think I'm about there :j
Still got some wrapping to do and jars need filling with 'snowball' sweets -think thats best left till last minute
and waiting for the robins so I can fill the tiny flower pots with birdseed and sit the robins on the top.........then I'm done !!:j

Then I go and see the 'odd sock' plaque..............now I want to do that............I mustn't...........something has to keep till next year.............:rotfl:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

For anyone who isn't creative or hasn't got a lot of time, found this little advent tree with drawers at http://homeshopping.24studio.co.uk/clearance/october-rock-bottom/12 - is only £7.99. I have one with little drawers (like a tree carousel), when the boys were younger I would put a couple of smarties or little choccie figure in them. Now they're older, I use a rhyming clue to where the little treat is hidden!

I've covered most of my gifts but could do with some help with a few, everyone will be getting mugs with snowman soup. I'm considering sock monkeys for my nephews and other children in the family as I did these for my girls last years.

Who I need help with -
My Daughters Grandad has just taken up digital photography so I'd like to do a gift basket based around that but got stuck on ideas. So far I've thought of - LENS CLEANER, FUNNY BOOK, PHOTO PAPER, PHOTO ALBUM, NOVELTY KEY-RING, FUNNY T-SHIRT.

I also need help with my nephews they are always hard as I hardly ever see them-

N1 - 20 yrs, at Uni in Portsmouth studying something to do with sport

N2 - 17 yrs, at college, into drama (just had the lead in a short film), use to do dance and has been in a few pantos - don't know if he still does this

N3 - 14 yrs, goes to army cadets but used that last years basket. I was going to do a sort computer basket so far I've thought of - LAPTOP LIGHT, DISC REPAIR SYSTEM, FLASH DRIVE, PAPER, PENCIL AND POEM

Also need ideas for a 2 year old girls "Gingerbread & Cupcake" themed basket so far I've thought of - GINGERBREAD MEN BISCUITS, BOOK, DVD, BLANKET, HAIR CLIP, BAG, TOY, SOCKS
  • Wendywitch what about a student cookbook? If you look on Amazon there are some really good ones with lots of ideas:confused:
