for people looking for baskets i saw some in my morrisons today, they were only the plastic ones but i know some of you use them. they had tiny ones in packs of 5 i think, medium ones packs of 5 and bit bigger ones in packs of 2 all ones were £1 each. the big ones are not massively big but may do for someone doing a smallish hamper. they also had some photo frames for a £1, black with 4 or 5 different photos one type says family the other says friends. i was really tempted to buy at such a bargain price dont know how i managed to walk away im addicted to photo frames. also had some candles and odd bits on sale.
recieved my free bag and umbrella today which i got off the grabbit board im keeping umbrella as i desperatly need one, bag is going in mum's hamper and the free necklace and earing set i got with it is going with tom's godmothers present which im getting from avon clearance. santa will soon be here cant wait!!0 -
I got a set of these plastic baskets from Morrisons. I'm making a few sets of men's toiletries hampers and all the baskets I had seen were either too big, expensive or girly. Then I saw these packs and thought they'd be perfect. They are just the right size to make a smaller hamper and they are a bargain - I got 3 for £1. They come in different colours, I got dark purple but I also saw bright green and light blue.Making money for Christmas 2012!0

they are doing different products for £2.99 each day for a month. ordered a horse money box (is actually more interesting than it sounds!!! RRP£14.99) AND A PRO GOLF GAME(2.99 RRP £39.99!!)
THANKS TO THE GRABBIT BOARD
Ok, I'm really annoyed. I ordered the golf game yesterday, thinking it would be a fab surprise pressie for hubby. It arrived this morning (can't fault the speed of delivery!) but it was unwrapped! It was basically just the box with a delivery label stuck on it!! And because I'd already left for work, hubby had to accept it!! So he now knows all about it!!
Seriously though, how many people do they think are just buying them for themselves? Surely it's the type of item thats an ideal gift for someone?? So cover it up!!! ARGH.
Not happy.

Oooh, thank you! :T Was debating if I should order some earlier but decided against it because I didn't *need* to buy 4 boxes of xmas chocs, but using your glitch I only needed to get 2. Some fudge also jumped into my bag though...no idea how that happened! :rolleyes:Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

i havent seen any around but you could try ebay the only thing is p&p maybe higher than just going into a shop, or keep your eyes open in the charity shops i got a photo album the other day for £2 which holds over 100. asda may also be another place to check i know they used to do them.0 -

Asda have some good 3 for £10 deals on their wine, I like Blossom Hill so I stocked up on that.
I also got some others for xmas presents, some of the bottles cost about £6 each; but they were still included in the offer.0
