  • my order came this morning by dhl (ordered 7.45pm monday) and am very impressed. all the breakables and toiletries that could split were packaged in loads of layers of bubblewrap. the small bits i irdered were packaged together in a padded envelope.
    all really great stuff!!
only thing was the bath mat i ordered was green not white as shown in the poicture on the site but doesn't really matter!
    recommend it highly!:j
  • Hiya, I have been reading through the many pages and I am very interested in becoming organised !!!

I will throw my hands up and admit that in the past I havent been organised (hey im only 20 lol :j) but since having DD 10/12/08...and being so rushed for christmas I have decided to become organised this year. Hope you'll have me.

Wonder if anyone can help me.

My grandad was a very good carpenter but now has parkisons so is unable to carry out any diy anymore, and usually for christmas we usually get him a tool box full of new tools. But this year I'm at a complete loss at what to get him. He's 71 and is a mad fan of country and western music (well all things country and western)

Help me get organised please guys :) :p

finally felt christmassy over the past couple of weeks, get my mum's nighties and slippers both ea with 20% off and thought if i give them £10 each on their hampers going to get them a sat nav for their joint present! thought i may get it off tesco and get clubcard points unless i can find a cheaper one elsewhere. dads hamper going to be a mixture of things:
pencils - for his toolbox always moaning he has none
    pens
    diary
    a beer glass maybe
    socks
and i havent brought him a tie in years so may find a jokey one.

for country and western could you not get some films?

Woohoo! Just made 3.5kg of mincemeat for the freezer, (while dyeing my hair) I mad emy own mince-pies last year and they were gorgeous but I used jars of mincemeat so I'm excited about making it all from scratch. Used the "Best Mincemeat recipe" from the Old Style board, but not sure it works out any cheaper than buying it so hoping the taste makes up for that...
