Hi everyone room for one more :) Love this thread! Just been to town and got 3 canvas boxes with a chalk board on the front from The Works (similar to Matalan's last year) I need 1 more and the only colour they had left after I got the last 2 in red was pink. Dont think ds would be too impressed with that lol.

Where's the Coffee?? Show me the Coffee NOW!!
  • I wish I'd bought a smaller jar for OH's sweetie jar present, was looking at these lovely kilner jars but they were all like 3-4 squids each, so I opted for the £1 clear cookie jar, but now I realise it'll cost a fortune to fill it with candy. I suppose it's better to spend more on the sweets than the jar though

    Hi Claire,

It didn't cost me much to fill the jar (if it is the £1 one from Asda)

1st Jar - £2 to fill from Poundstretcher (swizzle sweets in the brigh yellow bag and mini packs of haribo star mix out of one large bag)

2nd Jar - £1.99 to fill with Cadbury chocolate eclairs on offer in Mr S at the moment in a large cardboard box alongside Maynards fruit gums (?) and Bassets Liquorice Allsorts all £1.99

All came to £3 in total and only extra cost will be some ribbon and bows to make them look pretty and print a label out and stick on. They are stuffed to the rafters and I thought before I made the first one up I would have to buy more to fill it so don't know what to do with the 2 packs of Werthers I have and Fox's Glacier mints!
final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333

Welcome to Bufger and Shevs :D Shevs I bought my boyfriend a tattoo for his birthday this year, he's been talking about getting his son's name tattoed on his chest since we first met so I bought him a voucher for it, he said it was the best present anyone's ever given him :) Do try to ask around about different studios in your area though and make sure they're clean and professional etc. I don't know if you already know about this kind of thing already, but if you're in the north I could recommend a couple of places that have a great reputation?

That would be an excellent idea for my DH for Xmas!! He's been wanting another one for ages. I'm in West Yorkshire if that's far enough North for you to recommend somewhere??!
    Thanks

Bufger & Claire Bear My oh wants a hanya mask as a chest plate done, he loves japanese art and already has some japanese style tattoos and the bloke who did those tattoo's will be doing this one. He is extremely talented and would recomend him to anyone. Claire Bear I do live in the north Im from Manchester chick.

cdsmiler/Clare I got the earings off ebay, I just put in nightmare before christmas in the jewellery section and loads of really funky nightmare before christmas stuff came up . She is a big big fan so I know she'll love them

Saving mum of one if you go on amazon and put in ''love the bead'' in loads of cheap pandora style beads come up for £2 instead of £20 odd also you can get the bracelets from £2.99 and you can chose the lengh of the bracelet aswell. thats where I got the charms for my mum and also bought 1 for myself they are really good quality, which I was abit worried about because of them being so cheap

Sarah!!!!!! Hiya chick how are you? hope you and your little brood are doing well and enjoying the new house Speak to you soon hun

Sazmo30306 I can recomend a tattoo parlour/shop in Manchester if that is any good to you?
