  • chickywiggle (great name btw) what about some xmassy mugs, you can usually pick these up cheaply, mini marshmallows and hot choc sachets (i would suggest snowman soup but it can be expensive buying the bags if your not doing alot)

    erm..... i will keep thinking

home bargains do the mini champers bottles for 89p or could look for 342 deals on mini wines, maybe a dvd lots of £1-£2 sales at tesco asda
home bargains nr me also did a desktop calendar joke a day for 1.99 and they are vselling xmas mugs wiyh a xmas soft toy in them for £1
  • Just reminded me, Home Bargains had little sachet things of bath bubbles with Winnie the Pooh characters on for 25p each, might be good for Christmas Eve hampers for kids? Looks like you got quite a lot in them

  • Morning all, I'm afraid I overslept this morning and flew out of the door without my recipe book - Sorry! I will post it tomorrow I promise:D

The original recipe is very basic, so I will show it and then say what I add or leave out. It really is fool-proof, very adaptable and can be as cheap or expensive as you choose. I buy my fruit in the market at one of those 'buy by weight' stalls and I reckon the cost for 2 big cakes is approx £12. It could be made for less if necessary it just depends on the ingredients you choose. I use LOTS of fruit and cherries, my OH says it is 'More Christmas than Cake' :rotfl:

Dont go to a cheap place for this. Tattoos are one thing you can go horribly wrong with if you choose a cheap place (infections etc).

  • Welcome to Bufger and Shevs :D Shevs I bought my boyfriend a tattoo for his birthday this year, he's been talking about getting his son's name tattoed on his chest since we first met so I bought him a voucher for it, he said it was the best present anyone's ever given him :) Do try to ask around about different studios in your area though and make sure they're clean and professional etc. I don't know if you already know about this kind of thing already, but if you're in the north I could recommend a couple of places that have a great reputation?
