Address book, notelets+envelopes, one of those digital keyring photoframes? Don't think they are too expensive. Sweets, a chick-lit, ooh can't think of any more!
xxx:heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:0 -
So many new names over the last couple of days - welcome to you all. More people means more ideas and more bargain spotters.
I havent done much xmas stuff either, having a bit of a lull. Think im just saving my energy for when the shops start stocking their christmas ranges.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

Thank you to whoever it was who posted about the star wars lego offer.
I work in the local shop so am getting each one put aside. They will be going into Ben's stocking this year I think.
Also should mention whilst working yesterday and bundling up papers I noticed that the £9.50 holiday offers are on in the sun again so I'm doing that too as well.
Welcome to all the newbies who have joined since I last stopped in.

Good Luck Tinksy. :j
Realised today that I have left two very important people off my present buying list! My best friends!!!!:eek::eek::eek:
Sounds stupid but we keep in contact through face book and texts mostly as our work etc never seems to work out for us all to have a day off together but lately with the miscarriage and one of my friends has been having a very hard time (her dad committed suicide) and its made me realise that they are there no matter what and I want to send them something to let them know how grateful I am that they are here.
So need two more gifts now. Thinking a small token like hot chocolate mugs each. xTime to find me again0 -

How much do you lot usually spend at Christmas?
This will be me and the gf's second Christmas in our own place but last year I had already bought all her presents and those for everyone else before we moved in, whereas this year I'll have to budget a bit more.
This year seems to have flown by, can't believe we are already in September. Scary!
I'll only have to really buy for the missus, my mum, dad and brother.0 -
hi ironman here is my budget it comes in at £715 if i have added up right!
dh £200
dd and ds £250 (dh has paid the other half)
mum £50
dad £30
stepdad £20
dads gf £5
nannas x 2 £15 each - £30
nephew x2 , niece, friends dd, little brother £20 each so £80
other friends 3 kids £10 each - £30
this is a rough idea, if i can get it cheaper than i will buy something in the sale that is either the budget value or higher if that makes sense
so far i have the following finished
2 of friends kids £13.50
nephew spent £15
dads gf spent £5
saved a total of £11.50 so far!0 -
