I did something like this at Burlingtons/new ID. Had a lovely time have make up, hair and nails done. The photos were nice. but the ending was pretty tedious. I was told when i won that my free prize included one photo but when I said I'll just have the one photo they said that I couldn't pick the photo that they could pick them from any of the shoot. Which was rather dull and deceptive. The prices they wanted were very expensive. I organise shoots for tv people at work and the prices they wanted I wouldn't have paid for celebs. However if you are really certain that you're not fussed about the photos and really stonewall them you can negotiate a good deal I got three photos for £80 (including the £50) the hard copies and then when I was sent them I made internegs at £5 a time so I could copy them. I like a haggle though, play poker etc so don't mind bluffing and am a sales person so by the end of it the sales man just gave up on me as he knew he was beat. I told him when I was prepared to pay and no more. If you don't think you can take the hard sell and will be upset by that then don't bother.

They call me around 2 or 3 times a day with the same rubbish about winning a photo shoot! When the indian soudning guy called "GAVIN" called today I kept telling him im not interested but he wouldnt give in, eventually I asked to speak to his manager and he said there was no manager there but I could speak to his superviser.....needless to say about 10 seconds later the phone line went dead!

I am so sick of these calls - I cant even remember the amount of times I have asked this company to stop calling me..aaaaaaarrrrrghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same here emmafifema, they call everyday! i just say "yeah right" and hang up but its soooo annoying!

All the effort he had to go to to get the refund!!! That's what you are missing. They company harass people and hound them into ddoing something they don't really want to.

But he said he got a refund straight away!!! I don't know, maybe i'm missing the point but if he changed his mind and they refunded him, what more can they do?

Do you work for them by any chance?! Just read through the other stories. The company have rude aggresive sales people and the majority of people have said that they just want to rip people off.

Do you work for them? Sorry for being a sceptic but your first post is to defend them without even reading the whole story
