Go to main forums page - see the tab at the top of this page marked forum.

Scrolldown until you get to the Home and Play section, and the 2 message boards you want are the last 2 in that section.

Just got the call from them and damn im glad a dont have a bank account! Thought it is to good to be true and thanx to you all i know now to avoid these ppl.
Ill wait and see if they call me back, but he didnt harrass me at all on the phone when i told him, just suggested i ask sumone for their bank card, so this may be a good way to make them lose interest.
Free make over, yeah right.
Anyone else find it totally depressing that if anything sounds like a really good deal or sumthing nice happens its usually sum con trying to use your trust in humanity to screw you out of money? Cuz i do.

Welcome to the forum, I'm guessing you googled after being offered this win/scam and ended up here?

Not all comps are a con, and you can enter some amazing comps via this forum, I recommend reading the "STICKIED" posts on the main comps board hun.

I dont usually do anything on the phone or on the spur of the moment but got caught with Sapphire studios yesterday. I was not feeling too good and it seemed a good idea as I didnt realise that I had to pay, and was under the impression I had won a competition. I paid for 2 in the end which is nearly £100 which i cannot afford to pay,thinking it would only be taken out if didnt turn up, it is all confusing, but nothing i was told on the phone added up to what it actually says on the email i got, i thought it was £49 that wouldnt be taken unless I didnt turn up and only when they had taken the money did they say it was double that and it was taken out of my account, i dont even like makeovers. I am really worried now as my friend doesnt want to go either, i would like to get my money back, but cant get an answer from the phone number and it also says to write, but i dont believe for one second if i write i am going to get this money back. Could anyone tell me how i can go about this, i thought that in the 7 day cooling off period you could phone and get money back. It has really upset me especially as i have read some of the comments on here.

MY EXPERIENCE AT SAPPHIRE STUDIOS IS SOMETHING I WILL NEVER FORGET!!!i was just like the others who are concerned about the card details but they never failed in handling my card details with extreme!!i wanted to cancel it because i was concerned but just went on with the make over and it was not a mistake...i thought deserved that wonderful day!!!it was really a good way to treat your self after a busy and stressful life.....thanks to them!!!!

i highly recommend sapphire studios!!!!!after experiencing the best treatment there and one of my greatest experience there...all i can say is THANKS TO THEM!!!!after the session there,i felt that i should be doing it often...it was very effective in relieving my stress and at the same time rejuvenating me...they'll make you feel that you deserve some break and that we deserve to look good!!!!

But yes, I was a semi-victim too. I entered a competition on Living TV's site that had them on there. And of course magically I won. They didn't get me past the first phone call though, though they tried really really really hard to get me to say yes. They kept me on for what must have been at least half an hour!

Good point, I have even seen comps where they are asking for a small contribution to postage where it's oviously a big and unusual amount..it's never a consideration normally, it's a prize and free !!! you say.

By the way...another good one to avoid contact wth is the tooth makeover one...they are like wasps once they have your number. I needed to be extremely rude to get rud of them. Didn't like that.
