True, it was the Franco Dragone angle that tipped it for us plus it did talk about cirque when they were pushing it at first but we were still not keen on it whilst we loved the stuff in Celines concert.
Maybe we should give one of the others a try
Mind you I am talking about someone who fell asleep in phantom LOL when all the rest of our party raved about it so maybe its just me.
One of the best shows we have ever seem in vegas was EFX with David Cassidy that we saw at MGM in 1997 our first ever Vegas show

Anyone eaten at Olives. Can't find a sample dinner menu anywhere for them.We would like to try the veranda overlooking the fountains. Do you have to book this or is it first come first served? are the prices comparible with Mon Ami Gabi ?
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I fancy Olives as well and was going to ask the same thing cos I also want to sit out on the veranda (I love those fountains so much!) I found this sample menu for the New York restaurant guessing it would be pretty similar?

We saw EFX our first trip in 2001 - actually just found the ticket stubs a couple of weeks ago...but when we saw it it was Rick Springfield instead of David Cassidy. This was the draw for me as I was going to marry Rick Springfield when I was little :)

It was a fun show - it was the first Vegas show we saw so we were impressed...I think now after Love and O especially (and Ka to an extent, and even Le Reve) we would think it was a bit lame but at the time I thought it was great...even if I believed the woman who got brought up from the audience really was a random fan in the audience and not a plant...my husband still will not let me forget my gullibility on that one.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Evening

Newbie here. We are going to fly out Sunday 30th August and return following Sunday. I have followed a link and can get a good deal at MGM Grand bu not for all of our stay. Please can someone give me an honest opinion as to the Luxor as I have read so many conflicting reviews I'm not sure now.

    Thanks

    Lesley
