SeptemberClaire,
That's great - yep we're at the Venetian - again! Love the rooms - we compare everything now to them - "ah yes they're nice but they're not...."
I'll keep JB in mind too - did you get a deal on them?
IReally looking forward to this - some folk think we're mad going back so soon but they have been - Vegas just grabs you it so addictive - and we don't gamble!!0 -
SeptemberI'm not sure if it's already been post here but Joan Rivers is doing a few shows at The Venetian 27-29th Aug & 3rd-5th Sep.

Personally I'm gutted - I think she's hilarious & hope she does another few shows when I'm there.
Tickets $38.25 - $138.250 -
October , NovemberI would highly recommend Jersey Boys. I loved every minute of that show, and we're planning on going again in Oct/Nov.0

?? America is the fattest nation in the world.
It took me many trips to Vegas to even consider going down to the pool and I'll still only go early when it's relatively slow - but now I'm OK with it and I am so very unfit...but trust me, unless you're looking to go to Rehab at Hard Rock or something, chances are exceptionally good that you will not be the least fit person out there.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
October , Novemberon Tix4Tonight don't forget Luci's post with a link to pictures the offerings in April, May and June this year. Le Reve doesn't appear on any of them - doesn't mean it won't be on another time, but at least you know it isn't one that is always offered.

Septemberfrerf, how did you manage to find that post? I remembered about it, but didn't know how to go about finding it.
The Jersey Boys was an excellent show. We saw it the day after the official opening.
Lion King tickets start at $53. Online you have to order them through Ticketmaster, but if you call Mandalay Bay direct you save the TM fees.0 -

I knew it was Luci who had posted it so just did a search of the thread for Tix4tonight posted by Luci. Thought I must be going crazy when nothing came up then remembered they split the thread - it was in the first part of the thread so went there, did the search and it came up.There's a search this thread option at the top and the advanced options option allows you to be more specific.

am in Gatwick Virgin clubhouse now, having breakfast, watching the rain
quiet so far, only 10 people in here
they are closing this CH from September for a refurb, so Sept to Nov will be transferred to the Virgin Holidays V-Room if anyone is thinking of using the CH in next couple of months. Also been told there will be no hair salon in the new refurb CH.0 -
SeptemberThanks for the replies about Walmarts guys, I've jotted down the closest ones to us. We've been to two of the Orlando ones and one in Cancun and loved every minute, a great way to spend an afternoon lol. I've heard about Target but never been so we may have to call in for a nosy
We were planning on hiring a car and driving out to Death Valley, if so we'll go to Walmart on that day. I'm a bit worried about driving over there though. We've spent 10 weeks in America over the last 3 years but have never got a car, I'm too scared of crashing and having to pay a massive excess. Plus the cars over there are all like monster trucks and if one of them hit us we'd be toast! My hubby has only been driving for 2 years and falls to bits when he drives somewhere new. I've been driving for 8 years and am very confident, but I'm still not sure about over thereI've driven in Greece and Spain, Greece was fine but Spain was horrendous . Also I'll be pregnant so not sure how practical it would be to drive to Death Valley in summer :rotfl:

good stuff , glad the Forum has saved you some cash .
have a blast :beer::beer::beer::beer:
I love this place and the fact that people are so quick to help - just hope one day i might be able to return the favour! Now just have to find somewhere to stay in san fran and yosemite and the trip is booked. I know it's late for yosemite - but ever the optimist!
I will also be looking for cds show deals so if i find anything good I'll let people know. I'm assuming everyone is aware of the $25 second ticket for KA via smarter vegas.
cheers!:beer:0
