Over-ordering at PF Chang's is pretty much a law, I think...for us, it's not helped that we have different favorites and usually end up with the 'we're on holiday, screw it' mentality and each order what we want. :) But every single time we waddle out and swear that next time it will be different. Maybe one day it would be. As for the chefs, since it's a chain I'm not surprised that there aren't many Chinese chefs working there.
OK, we usually have the Special Low Mien, lemon chicken, and beef in black bean sauce, rice is free, 2 soft drinks, $40 and take away almost half of this. Would one day like to try a dessert but am way too full by the time we finish the entree. The problem is that we then have to take it back to the hotel so as to not carry it around, but it makes for a tasty COLD snack at 1am
The first time in there we both ordered 2 entrees each and the waiter stopped us, explaining how big the dishes were. I can't get my head around all those people eating the mince in cabbage leaves_pale_
Tip, book at booth, we have never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes .
    ;) What's your favorite?

Hi, me and a few friends are thinking of going to Vegas around March time, but there could be 3 or 4 of us. What are the hotel rooms options for these numbers?

I guess we would split into 2 rooms each if there was 4 probably, I've never booked a hotel for more than 2 people so can anybody please advise/recommend any hotels/deals?

    Thanks!

For 3-4 people, unless they are VERY good friends, I would recommend getting 2 rooms and requesting 2 queen beds. You can request a rollaway for the third person.

Room rates are based on 1-2 people and there is normally a charge of around $30 pppn for additional guests in the same room.

I totally agree about dessert - never, ever had enough room for it.

We both really like the chicken fried rice - it's the closest to the fried rice I grew up with from my hometown takeaway that I've ever found. Ditto the shrimp with lobster sauce.

But normally Jamie has the crispy honey chicken (which I also really like) and last few times I've had the almond and cashew chicken...but we've tried lots of other things that have all been good - including the lettuce wraps. :)

I'm surprised you've never had long of a wait - we always have 45 minutes+ if we go without a reservation...which is OK because we can amuse ourselves in the casino - but we almost always lose.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Agree with Luci - due to the surcharge for each person over 2, it may not be that much more expensive to get a 2nd room and so much more comfortable for everyone - I suppose unless you're young and happy cramming into one room. Some people will say book for 2 and sneak the others in...personally I'm not an advocate of that myself.

In most cases you can choose number of people and number of rooms on the hotel's website...if not, you could just book 2 rooms with 2 people in each...your options shouldn't be limited at all, you can just look for deals as you normally would.

Ahh, but we eat early. Usually about 5-6pm. We miss all the crowds that way and have plenty of time for our meals to digest so we can enjoy the rest of the evening. We get seated at MAG straight away most times as well.

I'm going to vegas tomorrow!! So excited, i've already checked in and brought my luggage to the airport. I was worried when it started snowing that the flight would be cancelled.

This might be a silly question but is the strip las vegas boulevard? I've booked to go on a hot air balloon ride and the directions are really vauge it just says west of las vegas boulevard outside some 7/11 on durango or somewhere.

Yes LV Boulevard is the strip. How are you getting to the balloon ride? You will need proper directions if you need to tell a taxi to take you there.

I've just figured out where it is on a map. This is probably another stupid question but how would you find a taxi in vegas?:o Would I just ask the hotel?

Each hotel has a taxi rank - usually at the main entrance or close to. You can't hail taxis on the street in Vegas.
