Unfortunately, I'm getting married on the 25th November in Vegas! You go to the court when you get there, pay for your license and take it to your place of choice. When you return to the UK, you just present it to your local Births, Deaths & Marriages and Bob's yer Uncle!!
I never presented anything to anyone this end, and we have got married out there 5 years ago. who told you you had to do that:confused:
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Hi, I went to Vegas last month, LOVED IT!
I want to go out there again to watch a fight. It should be getting announced in the next few weeks.

The problem I have is if I book it, what happens if the fight is called off or postponed to a later date? I'm thinking of booking the flight and hotel with Expedia, is there any chance they would be flexible with something like this? I could probably give them a few weeks notice prior at least, thats generally what happens.

Also, does anybody know where to buy the tickets from? It will probably happen in the MGM Grand.

    Thanks in advance!

That's (just about) our plan! We get there about 2pm a week on Monday (23rd). We're off to the court as soon as we get there then we tie the knot on Weds. We have the rest of the holiday to relax then.

Just one tip, don't say (like I did!) "Let's get married as soon as we can when we're there so we can get it out of the way!!!"

    Hi Wadia,

I actually did say that aswell, lol!! But to be fair my missus actually agrees and isnt girly about the wedding at all although i'm sure on the day she will be giddy!! I'm actually looking forward to it all now, just got to decide where to stay, have only stayed at TI previously in a standard room and was gonna poss go to palazzo or similar but after looking at what suites you can get in TI and Mirage for the smallest in palazzo i'm not sure now, has anyone any comments on the TI or Mirage suites?

Hi all, I'm very excited because yesterday I decided that I am going to Las Vegas next year (treat for the big 4-0). Have already decided November (around the 20th) so I can save enough up + it shouldn't be too hot (my OH & I aren't fans of the heat lol) and I want a hotel on the strip. Already starting reviewing this thread carefully but so much to take in!! Thank you to all who have taken the time to report here.

Going to have so much fun reviewing the hotels and attractions - woohoo. We do like our comforts so would like a nice hotel (we wear out quicky so want a nice place to re-charge) but as this is a money saving forum, do not want to spend my life savings - anyway, have plenty of time to find it.
    Thank you all who post.
