I've been looking at the Imperial Palace and in particular the $35 food and beverage credit per night offer, which works out at $314 dollars for 7 nights with $245 credit, which seems a great deal

Are you sure that the $35 dining credit is per night and not per trip?

    If it's this one, it's a one-off credit.

Edited to add - have you looked at the Hot Deals rates for IP for your dates? Sometimes they work out better than the offers with freebies included, even after taking out the value of the freebies. I personally wouldn't really want to be tied to eating at IP (or anywhere else - too many great dining options around).

If you search this topic the IP is mentioned several times and was mentioned in the last week or so. The deluxe room is basic, but clean. No duvets, just a sheet and bedspread. The bathrooms are a bit worn.

Avoid the Emperor's buffet at all costs. The Teahouse is no longer 24 hours, but the food has always been OK if not fantastic.

You can read reviews from UK stayers HERE and photos of the rooms HERE just scroll through the pages.

I'm looking to make my fifth trip to Vegas at the end of January :j

I just caught the 5th trip thing - have you signed up for the Total Rewards players club before? If so, have you checked to see what you could get by logging onto your account? You might be surprised. Worth looking into anyway - go to harrahs.com, log on, click on reservations, choose all Vegas hotels, put in your dates and see what comes up. Even if you don't have anything in the 'my offers' section, you might get some unexpectedly good rates. If there are 2 of you, and you both have players cards, worth checking with the other as your companion, and without. We normally find we get the best value with my husband booking 5 nights on his own, and me booking 2-3 nights on my own, and linking the bookings so we don't have to move mid-trip.

d'oh - I am dim! Since it showed the package for every night I thought it was $35 per night. I will check those other deals.

Also thanks Luci - I will check those links now.

ferf1223 I never even thought about checking total rewards - yeah I am signed up, so I'll take a look now. thanks for all your help!! x

Even if there are no offers in your TR on Total Rewards the price often drops when you sign in compared to rates without the card.

Agreed - the best I ever get in my offers is reduced rates, but if I click on reservations and go that way, can usually get 5 nights comped...so I usually ignore 'my offers' anymore. :)

    Hi all,

Am looking at moment to book for next october for our 2nd visit but this time gonna get wed, anyone any experiences of this in vegas? Ive read a little on the legalities(getting licence) but one thing dont quite understand is the certified licence required for back home, on some sites it says that you apply for it in vegas and they send it off to the uk for registration, has anyone experience of this?? We have pretty much decided on the little white chapel, theres so many to chose from and thats the only one ive really heard of!

Ive looked for flights and as TC are only direct from manchester now will prob plump for them but dates are pretty tight)only 13th available) in oct as want to go in premium only really, is there much difference between TC premium and BA standard? As for hotels alot dont seem to be available in oct(most MGM ones) was looking at mirage but shows zero availability, thought this was strange as couldnt find any big conferences on, does anyone know why this would be? May yet splash out a bit more and stay at palazzo or bellagio yet tho!!

    Cheers!!

Unfortunately, I'm getting married on the 25th November in Vegas! You go to the court when you get there, pay for your license and take it to your place of choice. When you return to the UK, you just present it to your local Births, Deaths & Marriages and Bob's yer Uncle!!

That's (just about) our plan! We get there about 2pm a week on Monday (23rd). We're off to the court as soon as we get there then we tie the knot on Weds. We have the rest of the holiday to relax then.

Just one tip, don't say (like I did!) "Let's get married as soon as we can when we're there so we can get it out of the way!!!"
