All I can suggest is calling up US Airways and asking. With some fares you can change the inward leg for a fee once you have travelled out. I know that when I booked ours with NetFlights it said we could do this for, I think it was £70. Good luck and I hope you manage to change it.

I would call down and ask the Venetian. My brother originally booked the a fancy suite at the Venetian for 4 nights and was going to move to the Stratosphere for 3 nights. They were upgraded to a Prima Suite at check in and liked it so much they didn't want to move. They went down to check in and were able to keep the same type of suite for the same rate, but they had to move rooms as the one they were in was allocated.

    Thanks Luci.

I think the fact I booked via Expedia will hinder me though. I see your up nice and early too!

David, did you get what you wanted at Converse?

We had a good day's shopping at the Premium Outlets, but I'm now wishing I had bought one of the Guess handbags I looked at. I had decided to leave it and get it in May and will probably still do that.

Had a really nice meal at Casa di Amore last night. The limo picked us up, we had a restaurant.com certificate and it was half price wine night so it was a cheap night out.

We have never changed a flight because we usually go for a long time anyway. I'd be interested to know how you get on with changing your flight and extending your hotel stay. Just for future reference of course. I don't think I'll be extending our next trip.

Tell me about it......... I woke with a bad cough at 3.20am and was up till 5. Only slept anther 40 mins when I woke coughing again so I've been up since 5.40 with only 4 hours sleep.

Yes Expedia could be a stumbling block. If you read my problems with NetFlights/United you will have seen that United were happy to change my flights, but couldn't do it as it was booked through a 3rd party.

No harm in calling US Airways as you've nothing to lose, but I would use the hotel phone or get a calling card as your mobile will cost a bomb! I do think you will have to call Expedia though.

Is there anything in the T&C's on your flight confirmation?

There was definitely a note on the screen about changing when I booked my flights, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't mentioned on my confirmation.

Now I'll be on tenterhooks all day wondering if you have managed to change it.

    Luci,

We got a pair of converse but it wasn;t exactly what we were after.

You have mentioned 2 bad words there - Guess + Handbag

Think we'll be off to the outlet you went to y'day as Liz bought 1 last time at full price but wanted another but she wasn't keen on the range they have Guess on the strip.

Did you notice the 1 she had the other night? Did they have anything similar? Not sure that I want to waste my last day (hopefully not) at the outlet although I say that as if I have a choice:rotfl:

We decided to go to Spice Market Buffet - got up there around 8.40 and the Q was longer than I would expect. Waited til 9.10 then left as they started taking larger parties which really annoyed me as there were tons of tables which could easily have accomodated pairs. And guess where we end up - yep that's right MAG - food was as expected - superb!

That has put me off the buffets though and although I realise that Qs are always going to be there they kept sqeezing everyone up trying to get them to pay - felt a little bit like a cattle market so we left.

Sorry, as I mentioned at MAG, I am not very observant so didn't notice Liz's handbag. I can tell you that they were $70-75.

I have just checked my details on NetFlights website. We can change our return for £100pp.

See if you can log onto your Expedia booking to see if there is anything similar.

Forget about Donny and Marie at any of the ticket booths for the next few months.
Not only is Donny one of the serious contenders after last night's show (OMG one word-Salsa) but Marie is also there as Entertainment Tonight's special reporter each week. The publicity for the show will be in orbit it'll sell out every night.

David if the cost is too much-and the flight looks full (check the seat plan) get there early and ask if they want volunteers. You might get at least a couple of hundred dollars each in flight vouchers for your next trip AND a free change.

Thanks for this - I do this in Las Vegas?

I just called US Airways & they told me cost is $200pp (because I booked via Travel Agent) for the change & I would have to take a later flight back on Friday. This would be ok for me an extra 2 hrs in bed but the reason we took the 7.10am flight was to give us ample time in Philly for the stop over - this would only leave us 1 hr 40mins which wouldn't leave enough time.

Anyway I also called down to the front desk as The Venetian to be told rate was $349 per night - not!! I would've moved to MGM for last 2 nights at $59 per night but it's the fllight which be the issue so I'm not going to persue it any more.

Well thanks anyway guys time for shower, some sun & our last day in Vegas.

    Speak soon!
