I know this has proabbly been asked before but has any one used cityandshow.com its just I was looking at lowcostlasvegas.com and cityandshow.com they look to be both the same company but the same hotel and sames dates on cityandshow.com are cheaper than that on lowcostvegas.com.
Maybe me just been paranoid but I dont want to pay get all that way to be told, no sir u dont have a room
Thanks
Matt
We stayed at the Four Seasons last night booked through CityandShow. No problems at all. The check in clerk said that our stay was paid in full and upgraded us to a deluxe from a superior room. He did ask for the accommodation voucher so if you do book make sure you take it with you.
I would use them again as they have some great rates for high end hotels.0 -
SeptemberHad a great night last night at the Killers gig. Really enjoyed meeting David and his good lady and spend almost 3 hours with them. Hubby even said he'd be happy to meet up with them again and that is soooo not like him and he just doesn't get internet meets.
Sooo, we are meeting again tonight to go to Mon Ami Gabi for dinner.
Temp was 102F yesterday, but we weren't out in it for long, only when we moved from Bally's to the Four Seasons.
We have a Junior Suite at Bally's and it's MASSIVE. There is enough empty floor space to fit another 4 king size beds. We were offered it at an extra $25 so took it.0 -
October , NovemberHi
I came on this thread a few months ago when I booked my honeymoon and must admit to not having kept up since (lots going on with work little boy and finishing Uni dissertation) - sorry. Now i have a couple of last minute questions as we are off on 4 October. We have 5 nights in the venetian and are flying with Virgin. Got some great tips off of here and we booked our currency at a good price to get delivered next friday.
I am so sorry if the answers to these questions are on here but I really hope someone sympathises with me not being able to go through 103 pages (sorry). My questions are probably really silly too (sorry again).
They are:
What shows are on at the mo?
Could we pre order a limo for the airport before leaving or can we just get one from outside the airport?
A really broad question (totally understand it would be different for everyone) but what would you say is a must do in vegas so we dont miss anything fab?
Silly question (one for the ladies) is it achievable to go out really dressed up in heels and actually not have to walk miles and miles to get places or am I better taking flats?
Do most of the hotels have hairdressers on site?
Im sorry if any of that is silly.x0 -

That's so great and makes me so happy! You got a great rate when you booked too, if I remember correctly...as you know we really like Bally's but I get a bit paranoid when others stay there worrying if they might not like it. Sounds like an awesome deal.
I'm still convinced that the king size beds at Bally's are bigger than king size beds elsewhere too.
Sounds like you are having a great trip so far and hope it continues.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Shows- if you go here and put in your dates you can see what's on during your trip (don't book through this link though as the prices are terrible).

If you mean concerts you can check here:
http://www.lvol.com/events/vegas_concerts.html
I don't remember seeing limos waiting at Terminal 2 but maybe they do - you could book in advance though...you may get a better rate booking through your hotel - worth checking.
Must dos: Bellagio fountains, dinner at Mon Ami Gabi (patio table), don't overplan and have plenty of time free to wander and stop as things take your fancy.
You could go out in heels and not have to walk miles and miles if you take taxis there and back or stay close to home base. You do see lots and lots of women wearing shoes that would cause me to break a leg, surely.Just be careful as Vegas is the last place you want to be dealing with the aftermath of blisters.
Many hotels have salons which include hairdressers...they're pretty pricey but as a treat I imagine they are fine.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
October , NovemberThanks. You could have started something :rotfl:.
Well, I look at it as strategic...it allows me to discount those stores I don't need to go to (this week), thereby making more time to go do other things.
This is what I tell my husband, anyway.
I hate to shop as a rule, but shopping when there are good deals on I can accept...plus I know exactly what I want when I walk in the door. So...strategic.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
October , NovemberThank you so so much Ferf I really appreciate that ever so much. We had bought some Mon Ami Gabi vouchers from restaurant.com so really hope to do that. The tip about not planning is a fab one too (i do tend to over plan EVERYTHING). We are so so exicted and your advice will help enormously.xxx0

On the vouchers, I don't think MAG is on restaurant.com - you may mean the ones that Luci posted about? The ones we got are for breakfast which I'm really looking forward to - but if it's your first trip having dinner on the patio when the fountains are on is absolutely fantastic we think.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

October , NovemberSorry I am a ninny just checked on restuarant.com and realised it was casa di amore (not even similar is it:rotfl:).

They both have 3 words and are foreign?
The MAG breakfast vouchers are sold out now but they were here:

Excellent find by her as a lot of the other restaurants are on restaurant.com and better value there I think. We were lucky enough to get one and so are trying breakfast there next trip. You did have to have it sent to a US address which was a bit of a hurdle for many.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
