Odyssey I just found this site - these price seem OK but so much to choose from!

    http://www.looktours.com/grand-canyon-helicopter-tours.html

Anyone got any suggestions as to which would be best under $350? Can companies like this be trusted or is it safer to book when I get there?

There's loads of info on the Grand Canyon on post 3.

Most people seem to wait until they get there to book and as mentioned in that post you can regularly find coupons in the free magazines when you get there.

The heli trips are to the West Rim as has been mentioned in the last page or two already and also on page 3.

If you have time renting a car and driving to the South Rim would be far cheaper and give you the postcard views you're expecting...but obviously driving is not for everyone. Some have done the coach tour to the South Rim - it does take a whole day though.

I have to stop checking the Vegas concert listings...I swear that each week they're adding concerts I would love to go to if they didn't occur 2-3 days before we arrive or after we leave. :( I just almost died when I saw one of my all time favorite bands is playing the Silverton of all places (times must be tough for Better than Ezra - I liked the Silverton, but do not think it is known as a rockin' concert venue)...then I saw the date...26th September...we don't arrive until the 29th. I'm sad.

The Silverton have a Marquee outside near to the pool area. We saw the Commodores there last November. The venue was very good, but we were disappointed with the Commodores. The whole Casino area was heaving all that day. The atmosphere was probably the best part of the experience for us. and being Silverton players club members, we got half off the tickets. $25 pp - well worth it.

50% off $100 tickets for Peep Show Fri & Sat 8pm show

    http://entertainment.travelzoo.com/las-vegas-entertainment/638685?ptl=done&rating=&tppct=

It says until 19 September, but I tried the following week and they're still available.

Thought I was sorted with shows. Have 3 booked and tentative plans to see 6-7 others, but this show gets great reviews so it's very tempting.

I drove from Vegas to the Grand Canyon last month. The route takes you over the Hoover dam, before heading south through the desert to the Interstate from Kingman towards Williams, where you head north to the GC.
On our way towards the interstate we noticed a sign to the Grand canyon Sky Walk http://www.grandcanyonskywalk.com/.
We didn't follow the signs as we were headed for Sedona, but for anyone taking a drive from Vegas this would seem to be the place to go.

It sounds great, but in general gets poor reviews.

I booked our trip through this link last October as we didn't have a Nationwide CC yet and didn't want to pay charges. Also thought it was a decent price after much research. The flights were with Sundance, excellent and entertaining pilot, and half their price. We thought it was a great trip and would recommend it. Next trip (hopefully soon-ish) we will drive to South Rim and stay over.
Have loads of fun whatever you plan! :j

Wow Viator looks impressive looking at the Ultimate Grand Canyone 4-1 Helicopter tour, does this look a good price, or can anyone direct to a better deal?? Thanks
