Has anyone used carhire3000 before and had good/bad experiences? Found an excellent deal that includes young driver surcharges which saves a bundle! But not used them previously.

Yeah, all car hire agents seem to have mixed reviews. Booked a Chevrolet cobalt.
Had a charger last time and it was just too large when going down narrow roads!

    The price includes:
Young Driver Premium Package: Price includes young driver surcharge for drivers aged between 21 - 24 yrs, additional drivers over 21 & the initial tank of fuel

Never seen that before, wish I'd known about this last time. Had to pay $25 dollars a day. Saves about £50 over the week although I may just email to confirm it definitely covers the surcharge :rotfl:

    Hi
Wonder if someone can help. I have been trying to book tickets online to see Bette Midler in Vegas next week but the ticketmaster website will only allow people in the USA to book tickets. Any ideas anyone
    Thanks Kevin

You need to choose the Customers in other countries by Will Call in delivery, and you pick them up at the Caesars Palace box office over there

penny beat me to it. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Not sure I've seen a negative review of carhire3000 on this thread...I think it was Froggit who was charged a 1-way drop fee when he shouldn't have been though that was sorted out by CH3000 eventually...otherwise I think everyone's been quite happy with them.

I reserved our car for next trip with them and then saw the price had come down a few weeks later...emailed them and they refunded the difference. Anytime I've contacted them about anything they've been very helpful - sometimes it takes a couple of days to get a reply but they've sorted out whatever I asked for.

Only thing I don't like about them is that their call centres close at 10pm UK time...which is 2pm Vegas time...always slightly worried that if there's a problem it will be too late to call them to sort it out.

...but I'm known for my paranoia. :)

Thanks for the prompt replies but due to my booking being less than 10 days to the event the international will call does not show up. The package I want to book is a meal and seat deal. Do you think this will be available at the box office when I get there.
    Thanks Again

you could try calling...not sure if it would help but may be worth trying especially if you have your heart set on it.

You can call for $0.005/minute using various providers listed on the international call checker on this site.

several times and nothing but excellent service . remember you will probably end up with a car agent like Alamo , but the UK call center of Carhire 3000 will prove very helpful , should you have problems .
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:
