Thanks so much Di for all this information, this is such a great help, Will draft my letter to Natwest tonight and post it tomorrow when I get to work, Should I send them a copy of my 'True agreement'?... I'm not prepared to send my original copy- only theirs.
I must try & make all my phone calls to the ICO & the FSA tomorrow.

    Will keep you updated.

Thanks again and I will give you some peace now.
    Have a good night.

    With pleasure.;)

You can send a copy if you want to, maybe that would help, and your right not to send the original.
Good luck and with a bit of luck the ICO and/or the FSA will be able to help as well.
Fingers crossed, lol, hey do not worry I enjoy the chat lol :D.

Please keep us posted though, that would be cool and interesting, and you too have a good night.:A

Re: Copy of True Original Credit Agreement- PPI/XXXXX

I am writing in response to a letter I received on the 31st July 2009 in which Natwest advised that they had indeed located 'A True Copy of my original credit Agreement', something which you had previously insisted could not be located as it became apparent in January 2009 when I received only my bank statements in my Subject Access Request- No further information has been sent and the branch could not locate it when I went in to investigate in June 2009.
Upon closer inspection of the document sent, it has become apparent that this document has been 'created' as a result of my letter sent on the 5th June 2009 in which I stated in the correspondence that the account is now in dispute for the reason that Natwest failed to supply a true copy of the original credit agreement signed by me when I took out my personal loan, on top of this issue, other giveaways that this copy is a newly created document is as follows:-

*The document is brand new (just printed)
*It is printed with your new updated logo
*There is NO signature from me
    *NO dates
    *NO Credit agreement reference number
*My name now includes my middle name which was not ever used on my accounts
*The format is just completely different
I have explained that I require this payment of 'goodwill' paid directly to me in the form of a cheque as I have other priority debts with Council Tax, Rent, household bills and other creditors as well as your bank which are causing me much stress and financial hardship.
It is my intention to inform the Information Commissioners Office of the document sent to me on the 31st July 2009 and also to inform the Financial Services Authority on the conduct of Natwest and the total disregard for timescale I have allowed ample time for all information to be sent to me and for this case to be resolved and this is constantly disregarded.
I am writing to you to give you one final chance to resolve this matter in my favor.
i would like a response to this letter within 7days of receipt, failure to do will result in my passing this information onto the Financial Ombudsman Service to investigate.

    Yours faithfully

    (Should I sign it?)

    Thanks Di,
Glad it's ok.... I don't know what it is, but I know I had to send a clear message to them, even if it took me all night to do it.:rotfl:
I will get this off today and wait patiently for their response (within 7days) oh just to let you know I am planning to enclose a copy of the letter I sent to them on the 5th June where I stated the account was in dispute, is this a wise move?
If you could let me know I would really appreciate it.

    Thank you

Ahh thanks Di. Appreciate that- Just want to get myself sorted.
I also spoke to the Ombudsman yesterday to see if I can get my HFC claim fast tracked and they said I would need to write to them and send in proof for them to consider it. So that's my next thing to do on the list.
    Will keep you updated.

    Take Care

    Your welcome hunni,;)

Yes its best to try to send the FOS anything to show them why you require fast tracking due to financial hardship etc, this will help, I also sent them a copy of the latest bank statement as well, hope this helps.
    Fingers crossed.
