Hi Chicqa
Sorry for my late posting.
I agree with Maxdp as well.
If they do not resolve in your favour as well I would be inclined to contact the data dept at the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) to find our more on this, in regards of your agreement.;)
Good luck.

Thank you both for your responses.
I will be going into the branch at the weekend. Do you think I should take the documents as proof of identification as they have requested in the letter sent to me yesterday?
If you could let me know it would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Sorry to be nosey Chicqa. but im in the process of claiming my ppi back from natwest. havent had any trouble with them yet except they are taking ages to get bk to me with an offer even thou i think its an open and shut case. sounds like they are giving u some real hassle! do u mind me asking how much you think you should be claiming and wat was the reason u were missold? just that im tryin to work out if i shud expect trouble with them in the next few weeks or not.
thanks hope u get urs sorted soon.
Hi Keza,
Thanks for the message, Natwest have dragged their feet with this whole thing, I was missold due to the following reasons:-
a) Not suitable due to medical condition (Asthmatic)
b) Was advised it was in my best interest to take out- not given option.
I have spoken to them a couple of times on the phone, they come over all helpful, but this is just their way.. Avoid phoning them if possible!
I have given them firm deadlines and they have gone over all of them. This last one- I mailed them at the end of May and gave them a week to come back to me and I got a response yesterday!!
Except no nonsense from them.
I wish you the best of luck, Let me know if you have any more questions and I will try my best to help in anyway I can.

Your welcome and there is no harm in taking in documents, make sure you supply the photocopies though, if you have a library nearby to the branch pop in there first to get them photocopied if you have not done so yet, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hiya,
I am still very dubious about giving them anything with my signature, should I be worried or am I being a bit overdramatic?

I'm back!!!
And guess what?..... Ratsnest were completely unhelpful, popped into my local branch yesterday, spoke to a 'gentleman' there, explained the situation and he just said if the PPI team are dealing with it there is nothing the branch can do as that particular team have been dealing with it and are designated points of contact in my case.
How frustrating!!... I am so annoyed, I really need to know what to do now, I am concerned now as I don't really want to hand this over to the FOS... I know they treat each case individually but I am worried all my cases being with them may not be a good thing?
What should I do now?...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi and welcome backlol.
Did you actually write to the head office on this as well hun?
If not you do need to do this as well, and give the usual 8 weeks, the local branch unfortunately rarely deals with this matter, if they have a separate complaints dept you could write to them or as stated the head office of the bank.;)
