I am usually up by 8am at the weekend but like to flop around a while before leaving home.
I bought a couple more pressies today and a barganous dress that was reduced at the supermarket, naughty I know... bought everything to make raspberry and pistachio muffins except.... the RASPBERRIES:rotfl::rotfl:!!!! so back to the supermarket later...Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Happiness is...realising you messed up your spreadsheet and you actually have more money than you thought! Don't know how I managed to do this but it wasn't adding up all the money in the coming in bit and I've now a bit more money left than anticipated
, just when I was thinking December had perhaps been the wrong time to slash the entertainment budget! Cinders shall go to the ball now without worrying!
Edited to add - I have checked that this error hasn't been carried forward in the coming months and it hasn't so it's a one off bonus.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

It's actually pretty rare for any road round here to be troubled by rain. It's what happens when you build on hills...skint_spice wrote: »and for the good of Englandshire we need to divert it! just thinking of them honest...

Always good to have more money than you thought:T
Glad to see that the Christmas shopping is going well. I am avoiding all temptation for new decorations by reminding myself that after 20 years of adding to my collection I have ENOUGH!
Will need a wreath for the door of course, and might need some new lights, seen some lovely candles too and I do love the new retro baubles..............:rotfl:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
I had made a list Z (I am obsessive list writer), but then went to the gym and was having a coffee and flicking through (ok reading from cover to cover) one of the expensive running mags when I came across the recipe for the muffins, I have no excuse for not adding ingredients to my list as it was on my phone but assumed as all I needed was three key things that I'd remember them...doh!

Made DS compromise yesterday - he wanted to go to the cinema and get new clothes so was given choice of one or the other - he went for clothes, so we had a nice evening in watching dvds
Was planning on a wee run this morning but can't bring myself to brave the sleet yet
Bed stripped and I think today I'll have to move to the winter duvet, it's been pretty mild but getting chilly now.

I toyed with going to the gym this morning, but have decided against it. Having been sick this week, I am giving myself the weekend off it - and will hit it with a vengance again next week.
With moving house last year, I don't think I ever got round to writing Christmas cards....so I still have a stash here to use and no need to buy any.
Whether I can be !!!!!d to write them this year is another matter entirely :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
