Go! Go! Go!
It only goes as far as your skin.
And makes your toes drop off inside your trainers...
I went! it stayed dry despite alternating between hail stones and sleet for the rest of the day:cool: There was a bitter wind blowing mind but I'm considering myself lucky!I've been on that for a while now. You must have a hot bod.
As in heat...
I am hot:rotfl::rotfl:! it's not really been that cold, was bad in September but warmed up again, then the heating came in October by which point frozen had become the norm so not so bad :rotfl::rotfl:Buy the boxes - they last for years...
Too limiting! I like to chop and change;)

It wasn't too bad last week. Perishing this week.skint_spice wrote: »Too limiting! I like to chop and change;)
So buy another box. Eventually, you will have every combination of snow, mistletoe, Santa, young children, carol singers and Rudolf that you could ever possibly need. You will then not need to buy another card for the rest of your life...skint_spice wrote: »Have done lots of tidying and batch cooking so feeling rather organised for once:A

Noooo... folk might think I meant it!It wasn't too bad last week. Perishing this week.
Still not as bad as last year though, it's going to be a wee bit cold this week then go away and sit just over freezing and nice and dry and sunny for the rest of the month - ok this might not be what the weather man says but will do me:DSo buy another box. the problem with big boxes is that there are lots I don't like and I can't bring myself to send an ugly card so I end up with lots of dross...:T

It's not being vain, it's recognising your assets as well as your failings. It's a problem when it's one-sided - no matter which side that is.skint_spice wrote: »Yes, it's worth a try I feel
Pray harder...skint_spice wrote: »Well there's that and the nights DS has to be somewhere and this week I'm having a wee girly night out too, mind you will be eating out that night so no cooking required :T
Well you enjoy yourself - and - as always - keep your ears open for news and slander.skint_spice wrote: »P.S. just shows that work never leaves my mind as I was thinking "cosh" surely that should be "coshh"?
I hope your DIY isn't that hazardous..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I'm officially shattered
! Been woken up every night this week by the wind and rain and it's forecast to get worse tonight... earplugs will be in...
Not been too spendy this week, had dinner out with friends but wasn't too pricey, had a night out arranged on Friday but luckily that's been cancelled as it was starting to look mega pricey. Catching up with another friend tomorrow and some others next week so not retreating totally from the social side of things.

Oh dear. It was howling a bit down here too. At least with the rain, it's a bit warmer.skint_spice wrote: »Not been too spendy this week, had dinner out with friends

Friday night again - where is the time going:eek:?
I've decided that the way to go on the saving is to stick it into the mortgage rather than savings as I'll save more interest than I'd get in interest, it's all going to end the same way anyway so must go update signature accordingly.
Lots of stuff cancelled this week, schools were off yesterday and I worked from home so a saving on petrol and dinner money at least, don't fancy going through the stress of worrying if the roof would stay on or not again mind you:eek:... missed seeing my pal too but will catch up soon.
Have been doing some xmas shopping but still loads to do and must write and send cards this weekend. Apart from that it'll be DIY, housework and the gym:cool:...
Bought a M&S meal deal so have a bottle of wine for me, dinner for me & DS for Monday and a yummy apple pie in the freezer. Not got much else to shop for so hopefully a cheap week on the food shopping front:D.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
