    Yep, looks about right!

Sorry you and Beanie hated social dancing so much, I thought it was ok but that's probably cos I hated the rest of PE - DS loves PE so sees it as an unwelcome disruption and they don't even get to pick their own partners so no great flirting opportunities for him either:rotfl:.

Found lovely retro paper christmas decs yesterday in Wilkos for £1 very like the ones I'd been lusting after online for £5:cool:, and no I still haven't wallpapered or painted so really need to get my act together or they will be waiting till next year!

Is this "retro" as in "they've had them in stock so long they're starting to come back in"?

Or the gym, since you spend a lot of time there.

Have a day off so just nipping out to the gym before spending the day painting... yawn...

Need to come up with a way of diverting Scotland's rain down South - drought orders? you could come and get some from the natural reservoir that's growing in my garden if you like:D? evil mother moment this morning though...was woken by the rain pelting my window then had a thought that if it keeps going tomorrow's footie shall surely be cancelled:cool:?

All money has gone into my account and most of it back out again, paying cc hurt lots but I suppose I should be glad I managed to pay it without digging into savings.

I've got a few christmas pressies ordered now :T and was delighted to find that nectar points can be converted to amazon vouchers:D with the amount I'm spending in homebase right now they are mounting up!

There will be no drought here. It was tossing it down last night. Actually I lie. It was tossing it sideways last night.

Will it? No wonder kids these days are so soft. We used to play in the snow. Used to be hilarious when the ball would land and roll up like a snowman. A big kick would make it explode in snow...

It's not the kids who decide - it's the ref, partly safety but don't think the clubs like the pitches getting ruined either, DS will still be playing footie no doubt but probably with his pals on one of the astra(o?) turf pitches - this will not require a 50 mile round trip for his mother first thing on saturday morning though so all good:cool:

I'm not that bothered TBH. It's being very nice right now - sunshine during the day, tossing it down at night. Ideal.

Rain during the day is annoying. Sunshine during the night is creepy.

SAFETY!? It's rain. Are the kids going to dissolve?
but don't think the clubs like the pitches getting ruined either,

That'll be more like it. Or perhaps the coach's hairpiece looks more obvious in the rain.
DS will still be playing footie no doubt but probably with his pals on one of the astra(o?) turf pitches

Astro. Which ironically *is* a health and safety issue...

Saturday mornings have a "first thing"? Don't think I've every seen one of those...
