I went to the dell customer services page to enquire about my order made last week and I just got an email back saying it had been cancelled!
Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting Dell Online Customer Care.
We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.
Dell records reflect that order number ******** has been cancelled. I apologize if you were not notified of this order's cancellation. Please contact your sales representative at 0870 90 74000 if you wish to discuss this issue further. I apologize that I am not able to assist you with this issue directly.
Should you have any further queries do not hesitate in directly responding to this mail, I will be glad to assist you. Alternatively you can also contact our customer care on 0870 906 0010 (UK) / 012044000 (IRELAND).

I'd say 1280MB of RAM is a bit overkill, 512MB suits most people's needs (but adding an extra 512MB is fine because of the low price)
If you use it for real memory intensive stuff (3D modelling, video editing etc) then yeah go for the most memory possible but if not 768MB would more than suffice.0 -

I have a pentium 2.0 ghz desktop pc with 1gb ram, would the 1.5 ghz celeron M be around the same speed in real life applications? The celeron has a larger L2 cache.0

If you are entitled to the EPP discount, why worry? Of course you will get your order.0 -

I had my EPP order cancelled as well but I complained and kept complaining many times to them through email and eventualy the person in india aggreed to "re-book" the order.0
