I will not have the money for another 3 weeks or so. Does anyone know if this offer will still be availble or something similar bearing in mind that the max i can spend will be £350?
    Thanks.

Let me check my crystal ball, and I will get back to you :D

Anything computer/electrical is going down in price every week, so i would guess that there will be something in your price range in 3 weeks time.

I'm looking at J400uk's post, and it shows that they joined in April 2006, that they've only ever made 1 post, they've been thanked 8 times in 1 post, yet their post that I'm looking at has no thanks against it

Is that illogical, or am I missing something here?
Thanks to all who post constructively.

It would appear there is a discrepancy - however I think I have 1 possible explanation. (I'm sure I've seen this before)

1 or more previous posts for J400uk did exist at one time and "8 thanks" were credited against 1 of them. This/these posts were then deleted but the "thanks count" is not amended or corrected in the process.

Anybody know how to check if you have received the six cell battery instead of the four cell?

Take the battery out and look at the label, top right it should say capacity 56WH, if it says capacity 29WH then it's only the four cell.

I'm just looking at ordering one of these, but decided to look through the options.

If you use evalue code 1-N04137 instead, You get the following extras:

Upgraded Processor (1.6ghz instead of 1.5ghz, i know, woo...)
Free Printer (725, 810 is £10 extra) - poo I know, but you can flog it for £20.
Upgraded Memory (512 instead of 256 - doubled, nice)
Upgraded Hard Drive (60gb instead of 40gb, decent)
    Option of upgraded primary battery

And this costs an additional, £60. If you factor in the additional Quidco and printer flogging savings, £37.

£37 for double the memory, 50% extra HD, and a slight speed increase. Worth it I think.

    Thanks.

Considering most purchases of this type are made on a credit card, if you got someone to put it on a card for you, you would have 4 weeks + to pay for it.

you need to change the service option to "90 day collect and return" to get the lower price

you may wish to note that there is no cdrw in this one
