I need the cheapest USB pen drive available (256mb-1GB depending on price) for this laptop
Anyone spotted anything? :P0 -
when I put the notebook in my basket and add the coupon code it doesn't seem to be changing the spec. do I change the spec. first.
At the main Dell page there is a search box, paste the code you want (e.g. N04137) into that box and do a search
Click on the link that comes up for that spec
Change Dell Support Options to 90 day C&R
Change battery to 6 cell
Do any other changes you want
Then add to basketThanks to all who post constructively.

This is compatible with the Inspiron 1300 right? Anyone tried it?0 -
you will need to take the 256 one out, I'm sure this laptop has a max of 1GB
mines fine with the additional 512MB to make a total of 760MBEx forum ambassador

I have never seen it actually in stock for last 2 months, and it still isn't.
It will fit the Dell ok, but you will never see this in stock.0 -

^Have you got a link to the auction you bought the RAM from?

By the way, you know the 3 screws at the back, are they the normal standard ones? Cross or straight type, not the hexagonal type screws?0
