No, I definately do not qualify for Employment and Support. If I decide to work less hours it will be Working Tax Credit that would help. With my end of tax year now here( it ended yest for me), I am inclined to speak to WTC when My acct has done his thing, and I know my latest figures for the last tax year. I have to update them and CTC anyway so will do it all in one go. See what I get if I decide to reduce my hours. The thing there is that things take me longer to do so I need to find out how that works. I do not want to be commiting fraud! Saying one thing and doing another. My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)

Yes, if u worked 16 hours of more you might be able to claim WTC along side the CTC.
Good idea, sorry I dident think of it befere.
You will get your £200 good condition bonus fairy quickly. If you dont just give them a wee ring to nudge them as sometimes the garage do not sign off all the paperwork & without it the money wont be released.

Hi BeanieLou, yes, thanks for your advice. I do receive some WTC now, and I have told them I work 40 hours plus. The thing there is that in truth my working hours are longer because things take me longer, I just wonder whether I could go to them and say for eg on the basis that things would take say 25 hours for an able bodied person which takes me say 30/35, that I do work 25 hours? Do you see what I mean. I work over 40 inc my bits from home but in truth I think it could be done by someone else in say 30. Thats just the way it is, with rests etc and the fact I am unable to walk particularly fast. I will speak to them when I know my exact figure for tax etc. It always amazes me with WTC that they pay you when you are s/e based on a projected figure for the next tax year, I then have to tell them the actual figure at the end of it, and then adjustments are made to the amount they pay me for the last tax year accordingly, and then I have to project for next year once more. Its no wonder there are people being overpaid or indeed underpaid which I think I have been this last year. Will wait to see, and sort it all out in one go. Will keep you informed of the options I might find I have!My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)

Well, today is the first of three days where I am essentially off from work. I have a few bits I can do from home and I can do those after dd goes to sleep in the eve so our time this easter break is our own in the main. Worked yesterday, mum and dad had dd for the day. Things are ok there it seems. They made the point to me that they couldn't afford easter eggs for the children, "they cant go on spending", but I said to them, that a shame, they are only a £1 each and theres just 4 children. They have bought the girls some head bands, and my nephew something else. They def want me to know they have v little money and I dont know if its to put the guilt on me for them buying the adaption. I tried to over look it. Personally, I am saving where I can re my outgoings, but to me its a sad day when I do not buy my own dd and neices and nephew an easter egg each when they cost just £4 in total. Im not buying the adults choccies, indeed part of our day today is making cakes, a cake each for my mum and dad, and my sis and family, then sausage rolls for my sis family too. It was my sis birthday earlier in the week, and we have agreed not to buy each other presents, but I still want to mark it somehow. My nephew loves my sausage rolls and with it being the school hols I thought some home cooked goodies would help all my sis and her family along the way. Then dd and I are making fairy cakes for my brother and for a friend. So, I am looking forward to later in the kitchen.
Otherwise, its housework this am, then go into town to do some banking, pick up something for my sis she has paid for, and I am going to a jewellry shop that buys silver and gold. I have a little bit and I want to find out what they would pay me for it.
Tom, off to my sis for a family day. Mon will be a relaxing day or a day spent with a friend and her children. We are playing it by ear. If the rain holds off, Id like to get into the garden.
Am really trying not to worry about money. I feel all will be well. Am focusing on my Kl bus. Have 184 books out there to collect on tues. My newsletter is going down well, have recd a few positive comments about it and one lady who hasn't ordered from me for some time gave me a £40 order so that is good. I am always astonished by how giving customers are to me. On Thursday, we recd an easter egg, easter card, lovely messages from customers , it humbles me totally. I feel so blessed, and I once again know Im doing the right thing staying in my Kl business. it will be successful, it will be the vehicle through which I achieve financial freedom, and security. It is just so exciting when I think about it! Am expecting great things. Am def going to get the team building underway again. The one lead I obtained from doing the school easter fair last week is interested in joining my team! I am speaking to her again on Weds. Where theres a will theres a way, and I just need to find a way to do it all.
Off to make boiled egg and soldiers for brekkie and on with our lovely day together. Dear dd, I so love her and heres the start of a great day together. My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)

Sometimes I wonder who is the mummy out of me and dd, who is the more mature person!. Yesterday dd told me that I must never give up, today she said where theres a will theres a way. I have been wondering!!
Bad news first.
Am worried. Keep telling myself this is a blip, all will be well, even so Im worried.
Good news: I will be able to pay my o/s credit card payt tom. Once thats done I will feel better.
All other bills upstraight. Another £400 knockedoff my mortgage, always makes me feel better seeing that go down!
Getting used to my new car adaption.
Orders are looking healthy even if bank bal doesn't. Its all just so so tight.
Tom, am taking two more pictures to auction house, and the gold/silver I have am going to see the price they will give me for it all. Didn't have time at the weekend in the end to sort that out.
Just praying my other three pictures, so 5 in total will sell on the 29th of this month. Please, please. Potentially at the very least £800 to be had there.
Am cancelling my gym membership, a killer, but it has to be done. I will still be able to use it till the 06th July, by which time dd and I can do lots of out door activities, and then looking positively ahead, I can rejoin in the winter.
Also leaving Slimming World. £4.95 a week is just too frivilous to get weighed. So, am going it alone.
In fact thats the worst thing about all this. I know this site is here, but in the moments of worry in the middle of the night I feel so alone. Am v weepy at mo. Back to work in a mo. Am trying to call O2 but have been on hold for an eternity. It will just have to wait till tom. I thought I had sorted it so my bill would be reduced by £10 a month but it hasn't happened and I need to know why.
Well thats it for the mo, off to work while dd at holiday club. Come on Lou, its going to be ok, it will be, you are doing well, you are, it is just a blip.My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)

You are doing really well PAF and you will get there but I do worry about you being under so much pressure the majority of the time.
This is just a question and its absolutely your choice but I am just wondering why you are against going on some kind of plan that would still pay all your debt in a certain amount of time but it would ease the interest rates and east the monthly amount you will have to find? You can still keep your house and your plan? It will dent your credit rating but I am assuming you don't want credit in the future anyway? And I am assuming it will not affect your job as it does for those working in say the financial industry?
I know that people have suggested it in the past to you and I know that stressed you out, but this situation is not your fault so you should not feel its a failure to use one of the debt rememdy plans.
Sorry if my post adds to your pressure its not meant to x0 -

Sorry to hear that you are feeling weepy.
Have you tried Bach Rescue Remedy?
It can be a big help.
