All will be well and all be well and all manner of thing will be well

That's a quote from Julian of Norwich, who was a prophetess in the something or other century :D

I find it gets me through a lot of difficult times :)

I like what will be will be and whats for you wont go by you, the second being said millions of times when I split up with my ex last year lol
  • Thanks for that honeybear. I didn't realise that. Its a great quote isn't it. Very calming, very positive, very determined.

Another one that I was bought up with was, Plan your work and work your plan. My mum was in party plan and this is what her "boss" would say, and mum in turn would say to her ladies when they came round to our home for meetings. History repeating, for the same happens when I hold team meetings here at my home!!!

Do you know any other good phases/ quotes?

  • What fantastic quotes. I will add one told to me by my 7 yr old dd this am as we drove to school!

"As long as we are alive Mummy, we must never give up hope!" Where that came from I dont know! She just popped out with it!

Well, after taking dd to school, I popped into mum's to drop off change of clothes for dd for the school disco later. Mum is picking up dd from school, and takikng her there, Im then picking her up from the disco! Mum told me she saw a clairvoyant yesterday up the road. She told mum that my dh was with me much of the time, that he was glad Id recently bought some boots - which I have - and that I need to wear them more. She could sense a connection with water - I laid my dh's ashes to rest in the sea! And then she quoted a phrase to mum that contains a swear word so I wont put it on here, but it is a phrase that dh most definately said when he was alive, word for word. So, also he loves me and dd, he wants me to love again, he's watching over us, he's sorry for what happened to him and the effect it has on us!

Just writing those words my eyes are welling up. Oh god, what a thing. So, moving on, just about to change into my new boots, go out there and work my socks off, and get books out and orders delivered. Have decided to call prospects tom afternoon, the ones I haven't got hold of all week and to look forward. 2010 is to be a great year!

Hi Positiveand focused,I haven't got to the end of your thread yet as I am reading it slowly (you really are an inspiration-I feel like cheering sometimes in your thread!) but if you are on DLA have you heard of the direct payments scheme? I know someone who uses some of their DLA to fund help with her daughter as she hertself has severe epilepsy and is worried about being on her own at home with her child. The helper does childcare, school run etc and my friend is no worse off money wise. I don't know enough about it and can't ask her at the moment as she is away, but you maye be able to find out through local authority.social services or CAB.
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!
  • Hi Positive and Focused
The message from the clairvoyant must be very comforting to you, although I have no doubt that your DH is up there somewhere watching over you, he is the one that is giving you the positive vibes.
Your sales for this week are great, can I ask, how many brochures do you put out each week, and do you lose many? I can't decide whether its worth going down the road of brochure drops, mine cost 30p each - what do you think?
P.S - thanks for your comments on my diary - much appreciated :o
