  • So quite a bit to report. Finances extremely tight this week. Can't figure out why as whilst I recently bought a computer I had that covered so I am thinking its just the way the dates have worked out. For eg I have £231 worth of direct debits going out on Mon and nearly £400 going in on Tuesday! I want the dates to swap!!! That said I've bravely sorted it out and feel great that its no longer a worry - changed payt date re council tax, bank ok and so forth.

Aside from that I am so very excited about Kleeneze right now. Such fabulous catalogues, great products and I am looking forward to the lead up to Xmas plus my online shop is now offering free delivery over £50 so think of me if you plan to shop from Kl!!

My pension too is going to be great. I am in the throws of updating it and transferring it to something that will help it grow more effectively than it is at present. Plus, my dd will benefit from it when I die which is something that was not in place before so for her I am so excited that I can provide a decent financial future for her to help her in life in the event of my death which will not be for a very long time yet hopefully! I am feeling good about developments with this..

So, otherwise re the school I've spoken to dd's teacher about the mornings. Despite all the hassle the school has created he knew very little of the "history" of the situation which I think is poor, not of him but of the Head teachers failing to communicate the situation, because I felt I had to explain everything all over again re my disability and it's effects and I know for a fact the Head etc have it all on file. That said, I have made it as clear as I could that I will be doing my absolute best to get dd to school on time and so far I have done well with this and that I just want the year to progress calmly and smoothly without incident! He seemed v understanding so I feel hopeful that it can be ok this year!

Other than this since having my new computer I've been on face book more than before and am finding ways to promote my business there. As with this website re my finances I feel it's helping to retain a confidence in me that all is well and with continued effort and focus, financially and with Xmas round the corner etc I will be ok and still able to see the debt decrease and build my business and create a happy life so a hopeful future awaits...

    That's me for now!
My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)
May 2013 £124,080.27= £37,903.50 paid off WOW!!!!! Well done! There is a guardian angel out there! :AI'm visualising success, debt freeness, and happy days!:T
  • Financially, things are feeling better! Getting fantastic sales from the Kl Christmas catalogues, starting to get my buzz back now that dd and I are more into the school routine, leaving the summer hols routine behind! Apart from today - I got her there late by 10 mins - I have been doing v well in that department, getting her to school on time. Weather is still v mild here, cold last week but this week I could have worn my shorts and still been hot the last couple of days!

So, yes, back to the money, bills up to date, dd's residential trip with the school paid for, orders galore to process, still holding a very tight purse, am doing well with my budgeting this month, am below my limits quite substantially compared to previous months and we only have 5 days left of the month. I am thinking if I can do it once, I can do it again thereby saving money to pay off debt or to go towards our fund to see my brother and his wife next year in the US (they emigrate there tomorrow!) so financially I see myself getting more organised once more.

Re my business I am starting to speak to prospects who may want to earn money for Xmas etc so I am feeling positive about that too.

Have also been sorting out the garden, and the conservatory area which doubles as my office and all sorts of things!! So, it is a much cleaner, tidier room. My next task is to recommence ebaying in the lead up to Xmas. I have a number of items that would do well on there.

Plus it looks like I am going to benefit from some help from adult social care. Still amazed that they want to help me !This would be someone to help me with chores in the house thereby enabling me to keep working without getting so tired and unsteady on my feet. So, for eg I worked yesterday, attended an Open Evening at the local school with dd, returned home at 8.30pm and did supper for me(dd had already eaten!)It was all I could do to make supper and eat it and I fell asleep by 9pm. I really would like to not be so tired and spend so long preparing things that take me longer to do than someone who can use both hands. So, we will wait and see! Overall, it's a positive report, everything going in the right direction!
