Being in debt is so soul-destroying, but seeing that I had paid £7k already has made me more determined. I only wish I had this mindset BEFORE I had gotten into debt, and it could have been £7k of savings in the bank .....

Also well done for where you have got to so far :T:T Keep looking back, especially on the low days to remind yourself where you were at, and how far you've come, as you say, it's not just about that figure coming down, it's about your mindset too. And you are SO very right about how MSE has changed the stigma attached to saving money/cutting back...................although sometimes I think some people go to the extreme, Boots toe seperators come to mind from a few years back :rolleyes: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I can envisage many dates across the country now where both parties turn up with their 2 for 1 vouchers in the restaurant :D

WELL DONE!!! I only got out of debt last month (including my mortgage) and it is a truly WONDERFUL feeling of freedom!!!!
