Does anyone know how many people actually do the RM surveys. Looking at the lists of prizewinners there seems to be hell of a lot. Also the variance in panel numbers - must be thousands!

From who I know in my local town I think there is about 1 panel member for 1,000 of population. But there may be more than that as it is just a guess.

Do you get the feeling that someone is taking the p***?

Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.
  • Just tried to sign up for this and was directed to a page saying . . . . . .

"Unfortunately, due to a high volume of responses, we are not recruiting to the monitor at this time"

Maybe I should have found this thread earlier.

May be nothing, but then again, may be worth keeping an eye out for.

Very unusual I had a test mail yesterday, and it was from Kanter themselves.

Today I got Church Times x

Just had this email from Kantar....ive told them im willing to participate:

We are looking for current panellists who would be interested in taking part in our Parcels Monitor, which measures the quality of Royal Mail’s ‘Standard Parcel’ service.

This simple survey requires a panellist to receive, approximately, one parcel per month, record the date of receipt, then post the parcel to another panellist, recording the date of posting.

Method of Posting - We will require panellists to post parcels at a sub or main Post Office.

Size of Parcel – we could ask you to post any of the following parcels
    Size
    Cost
    Weight
    Length
    Width
    Depth
    Small
    £4.41
    2kg
    19.5cm
    5.5cm
    6cm
    Ordinary
    £7.06
    4kg
    20cm
    8cm
    10cm
    Large
    £9.58
    6kg
    26cm
    15.5cm
    6cm

Type of Postage (+Reimbursement) - We could ask you to post using either of the following methods:

    1) Automated Postage Label (APL) (Counter only) - You will have to pay cash at the counter. However, included in your posting pack, we will reimburse you upfront for the cost of postage in love2shop vouchers in addition to the standard voucher incentive.

    2) Stamps - We will provide you with stamps in your posting pack to be used to post the parcel, so no reimbursement will be necessary.

Incentive - For helping with the monitoring you will also receive vouchers (included in each posting pack), the value of which is determined by the size of the parcel you are posting:
    Size of Parcel
    Cost of Parcel
Vouchers you will receive when asked to use APL
Vouchers you will receive when we provide you with stamps
    Small
    £4.41
    £10
    £5
    Ordinary
    £7.06
    £15
    £8
    Large
    £9.58
    £20
    £10

If you would be interested in joining the Parcel Monitor, please reply to this e-mail and we will contact you with more information.
