I got sacked from doing the royal mail posting about 6 months ago, but last week got a call asking if I wanted to take part in a misdelivery survey. I agreed and have got the stuff through, but don't know what to do with it? I can't find anything on the training page to help me so can some kind person let me know what to do. Hopefully, they may put me back on surveys...needing those stamps for my comps lol

Basically counting the post each day, and making sure that there for the correct household.

    say ur

    Mr K. Loose
    999 Lets Be Avenue,
    Policeville
    Essex
    Ex10 9io

    and you have post for
    Mrs J. Houston
    345 Lets be Avenue

That would be a misdelievery, theres a seperate sheet to fill in.

Theres 2 or 3sets of documents
1st - weekly count sheet (Mon to sat)
    2nd misdelievery -post
    could be 3rd parcels.

Another example - they want on the weekly sheet is any parcels, letters etc are left on doorstop.

If you go through the paperwork, theres a piece of paper for each one, that shows you what columns need to be filled in and how.

Hope that helps or at least starts you off xx

I've got loads of the smaller grey envelopes that you're supposed to send the smarts back in
what shall I do with them ??
is it ok to put them in the big envelope that I'm sending my received mail back in ??

I just hang on to them, if you want rid of them quickly, next time you are to send back three or four Smarts, use different envelopes for each Smart.

I've sent them back in the big envelope before or you could put them in with a SMART next time they ask for one to be returned.

They tell you not to send anything that is not survey mail in the big grey envelopes, so not a good idea to send Smart envelopes in the big grey envelopes.
    Like good food and drink?
    Try Hotel Chocolat and Baileys.

  • With regards to extra smart envelopes.

I asked Joanne about this when i had to ring up earlier this year, she told me to put them in the large envelope i post test items back.

Ive done this a number of times now, and theyve never contacted me to tell me to stop

I used to get Hello magazine which was good to read in the bath but that has stopped now.

I just send the plastic envelope & front cover or covering letter back to them, saves on their postage and they have said before they don't need all of the mag as proof.

My postie must think that a certain High Street Opticians are desperate for my business, I've got a reminder letter from them every week for about two months now!
