I think I am feeling a bit guilty, as our normal postie has gone, so haven't had a proper postie for a while now. I am wondering if it is (partly) my fault as I was getting post as late as 4 o'clock and had a lot of posting queries when I first started doing this. Some things were arriving up to 3 weeks from the posting date and lots of queires on posting times and also the wrong day on the post box.

I thought we had ours late at almost 2pm!!

That is a bit late to get your mail.
I thought we had ours late at almost 2pm!!

I thought 12.45 was late, (which is when it has arrived a few times) I normally get my mail between 9.30 and 11.15, but round the corner they get their mail between 7.45 and 8.20.

Our post comes any time between 9.30am and 2.30pm. I know that the postmen are now having to cover larger rounds & when I see his bike laden some days I am just very grateful that it does arrive regularly.

We have really good fellows who only very rarely misdeliver.

I think I win for latest delivery - 7.45 PM!!!!!! it wasn't survey mail though, just a parcel that I wasn't even expecting to arrive anyway, so wouldn't have missed it had they have waited until the day after.

I live in a town, only a few mins from the sorting office, so it's not even as if I live on a remote island or something either! it's not happened since actually.

I bet if I recorded surbvey mail at that time they'd question me whether it actually was or not!!!
  • I just won another £10 for the daily prize draw! :T How good is that. Only recently won £10 a few weeks back.

Hope it the biggie next...lol :j

    Congratulations on your win!

Queenriderbrekke - when you put it like that - you're right - I won't feel guilty any more as I like having my post before 1 o'clock. I suppose you just get used to it being late..
  • I always get my post after 1pm - usually 1:30 to 3:30! I remember when I was younger getting morning post but don't think we've had that since I was a kid.
What's even more amazing is that we had Sunday post this week! They clearly have a massive backlog as I had 7 parcels and lots of letters delivered. Of course Kantar thinks Sunday delivery must be me being confused when I went to log it and my misdelivery survey doesn't have a sunday section.
I keep feeling that Kantar think I'm useless - I'm getting queries about almost every other thing I post or receive when clearly they just don't empty my post boxes that often - eg posting at 3pm won't get collected till the next morning. Plus I got an email this morning saying I haven't logged stuff from two weeks ago - but it's because I haven't received it! The strike really has created a backlog in my area methinks - hence the Sunday service.
To top it off all the things I was supposed to send this week only came in this morning's post.

I suspect that Kantar query every post that fails to meet the delivery targets with both recipient and sender, that way they can properly attribute the delay to the service. It is going to be more a case of them thinking your postal service is useless not you. :cheesy:

Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.
