  • I suspect that Kantar query every post that fails to meet the delivery targets with both recipient and sender, that way they can properly attribute the delay to the service.

And if either of those cannot confirm exactly what has happened - eg a recipient has already posted the envelopes back to Kantar or the sender didn't write down on the posting plan the time they posted an item - then that item will be removed from the calculation of how well the service is performing. Looks to me as though that helps improve the apparent performance of the service.

To top it off all the things I was supposed to send this week only came in this morning's post.

Oh, well at least you can shift everything to next week and have had a week off from posting items!

I think I'm showing my age, remember the early delievery was about 7am, then a second delievery (2nd classs post), about dinnertime.

if its out post lady its between 12.15 and 12.30, others 9am to 3pm. I sometimes wish I could be a fly on the wall in Kanters office.
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • I've got loads of the smaller grey envelopes that you're supposed to send the smarts back in
what shall I do with them ??
is it ok to put them in the big envelope that I'm sending my received mail back in ??
  • I've sent them back in the big envelope before or you could put them in with a SMART next time they ask for one to be returned.

I think the same as Chocolatemonster, as the smrt envelopes get opened, think the big grey ones get filed away, as the infos already been recorded, and their scanned on entry.

I seem to have a build up of the smrt envelopes as well, x

  • I got sacked from doing the royal mail posting about 6 months ago, but last week got a call asking if I wanted to take part in a misdelivery survey. I agreed and have got the stuff through, but don't know what to do with it? I can't find anything on the training page to help me so can some kind person let me know what to do. Hopefully, they may put me back on surveys...needing those stamps for my comps lol
  • I've not received any magazines for weeks now. Is it just me or is this the case with everyone?
